Honestly, what the hell is Ned waiting for? So Bush K's Upton and gets the next guy to fly out, but we've seen this scenario how many times before? Ned's like a little kid with a lighter in one hand and a gas can in the other. How many times do we have to go through this routine?

So far this isn't even comparable to any of our other blew the game losses that's for sure. We were only up two and Bush had given up none until that inning. Besides Prince hasn't hit a homer yet today so that's atleast one more run we'll be getting.

There we go, I do have to say situations like this frustrate me with how people rip Ned. He sticks with Bush, and if Bush were to give up another hit he's ripped for blowing the game. However, Bush gets out of it, and no one with mention it, or better yet people will still find something to rip him for. He saved a pitcher and an inning, can't expect the D-Backs to not score this series, I'll take only two with sacks loaded and only one out.

I think that a lot of the frustration is due to Ned's leaving guys in too long in general. I, for one, figured he would bring the hook again tonight once the damage was already done. Certain Brewers pitchers also fare poorly in the sixth as was noted.

But in video games, pitchers are ready right away!

 

If some had it there way, the bullpen would have to pitch an average of 4 IP a game. It's just not practical to yank your starter at any sign of trouble after the 5th.
