    Yeah, these two haven't been as disappointing as others this year, or probably others in the past. It's not like we blew big leads late in either one of these games.

    I'll never give up on them until the final out is recored, but it's going to take some sort of a miracle to win this one. OR a rain delay!!

    It's not just these commentators, everyone has been picking the Phillies. They're obviously the favorites, they're supposed to win in the minds of people who "know baseball". If the announcers bother you guys so much you could put the game on mute...? *Edit - I know I complained about it before - that's why I say put it on mute. The Doors are much more pleasant on the ears than John Smoltz.

    Ball 4 to Victorino was close, but I guess you don't get close calls when you've already walked a few in the inning.

    I would try to grow a beard for playoff time, but I also have to shave for work. That and I'm not totally sure that I could grow a beard... Is anyone going to wear the same pair of undies for the playoffs?

    I'm still on leave from my Eurotrip, game comes on at 9:00 PM my time. So it will be beer in hand by NLT 8:00 pm, by the time the game starts I want to be a bit tuned up. I'm off Thursday so I can catch that game as well.
