  1. I would guess Kapler in the 2 hole, Hardy hitting 3rd? I haven't seen the lineup (if there is one posted online somewhere yet).
  2. 1 yr, 30 million contract just to ensure that he should have stayed here this year. Cripes Melvin, even I thought of that!
  3. A urinal. More specifically, a urinal once you take it off a wall. In my career field I've had to do that a few times, and by God do those things wreak. It's awful, it's worse than regular sewage.
  4. I created my username when I was 16 for the original Wissports.net. It's kind of silly, but I keep using it anyway just so that I don't have to come up with a new, lamer one. Y for Young - because, well I was young when I made it (I guess?) Finn because my family is part finnish 6 was my high school baseball number.

  6. If no one cared then it obviously wasn't as important. If we got swept in 2002 at a home series it wouldn't have made a difference in the final standings. This homestand could.
  7. Well I just got real confused for a minute there until I actually started using my brain. I saw on ESPN that Ichiro had gotten his 3,000 career hit. My eyes just about jumped out of my skull, as I could not believe he would already have 3,000 (MLB) hits. Then I realized that they had also counted his hits from his time in Japan. It's a feat nonetheless, however I just about had an accident when I initially saw that.
  8. I caught a little of the Arizona-Cubs game a few days ago, and man is that guy annoying... still. He hasn't gotten any better, he may have gotten worse if that's possible.
  9. The unofficial "garbage man" of the Brewers: http://www.checkoutmycards.com/CardImages/Cards/015/911/02F.jpg
  10. http://www.championshipplaques.com/images/MLB/82_cardinals_ws_plaque.jpg Sorry folks, it's hard for me to make fun of the Cardinals (they did beat us in the 82 WS) or Tony LaRussa, he has a few more World Series rings than good ol Ned. This thread is bad karma for sure.
  11. I think it's Flower by Moby. I haven't actually been to a game this year but I'm fairly certain I heard that when he was announced.
  12. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif This is freakin' hilarious. I love it some instances how he just snapped into the batting stance, great find!
  13. From what I took out of the interview he didn't really say much about (if anything) staying in Milwaukee. He said this off season he was going to look for the best combination for him his family and [his bank account]. He didn't say that he'd like to stay in Milwaukee, really nothing of the sorts IMO.

  15. I used to have a serious problem falling asleep at night, but if I'm not doing anything active during the day AND having any kind of caffeine then I find that I have way more problems sleeping at night. Not calling you all lazy, but I would suggest doing things to make sure you're tired at night. Eat a regular diet, with some exercise, and maybe that will help. It certainly helped me sleep better. I was never one of those people that would fall asleep watching a movie, or tv, like all of my friends would. I still really am not that way, but I do have an easier time sleeping at night then I used to because I eat 3 meals a day and I get regular exercise and I'm busy during the day.
  16. It could be something where he's trying to catch his breath and so he breathes deeply and just coughs it out instead of inhaling another deep breath. Perhaps something to calm himself down? I have to real idea just throwing it out there.
  17. Wow. I don't even want to get too excited about this because of the potential letdown, but that's good news. At the least it means his rehab is going better than expected, regardless - IMO - if he pitches again this year it's good news.
  18. Dude it has to suck. Knowing that you are being offered as the main piece of a deal. I guess it some ways it would feel cool to be considered so highly by other clubs, but still.
  19. Combination of TLB and Cole Gillespie. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif I understand the 2 or 5 year rebuilding plan, but I guess I just don't see the Indians as a team that needs to rebuild. IMHO losing CC won't hurt them that badly where they need to rebuild, they still have good pitching and an above average offense assuming some of their players rebound to form.
  20. They aren't going anywhere this year and need bats for the future. He's not worth LaPorta but they might listen if we dangled Salome. But they also need a closer for the future right?
  21. If Broxton is sent to CLE what makes you think they will ship him off immediately? If CC is sent to LAD, then any deal with CLE would be off probably.
  22. I would fly back to the States, back to Wisconsin just to puke in a bag and dump in on Melvin if he did that. - Not that he would, just saying. Are Cleveland fans more delusional than Cub fans?
  23. Happy 4th of July everyone, make it a safe day!
