Haudricourt is probably as ansy as we are for this with the amount of updates that he seems to be throwing out there. It's almost like he's doing that just for us. What a swell guy. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
He's talented but I always thought he played "wild". It seemed like a lot of the time he was out of control, that's just an opinion and certainly not why he was sent down to AA.
Yes he is, it was complete with a grenade toss of the rosin bag. Hilarious. That's gotta be tough for Francoeur. That's the second big name to be sent to a level lower than AAA this season, when Dontrelle got sent to single A.
So the 2 out RISP hits are luck, and not just good execution? Sorry, but I'm not about to conclude anything about the Twins. They're hot, they're winning a bunch of games. They'll cool off eventually, teams almost always do.
I'm staying up late to catch this game. As soon as I turned the game on last night the Brewers let the lead slip for the final time, I don't remember anything after that. It was a late night, and many, many High Lifes were consumed.
Whenever I hear the name Kevin, I always think of this character from South Park and Chef stopping mid-sentence to ask "Just what the hell are you supposed to be?" http://www.southparkstuff.com/images/stories/epiimgs/epi218/sp218_kevin_bg.gif So much for my picture.
That pitch didn't catch any of the plate. Brian and Bill think the plate is three inches wider on the outside corner. You can't say for sure they would've scored more if Kapler wasn't thrown out, but I would've liked the chances of it http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif I wasn't going by what Brian and Bill said, that pitch was called a strike to Braun for strike 1.
The flood in Madison in 2006 was ridiculous. The basement of the Dayton House where cars are parked was completely flooded. Water was over most of the cars, my car was parked on a street and it had water and flooded it as well. I'm glad that I'm not around for this flood, we had some flooding here in Germany a week ago but it was nothing like those pictures. A lot of the housing on base was flooded in the basement, I had to go down there and clear out drains. Not a pleasant smell to say the least.
And Hall shuns the infield after a routine around the horn after he nicely fields a groundball. I am excited to see Billy's at bat to see what he does.
My Goodness, those clips of Prince hitting homeruns last year really made him look skinny. I couldn't believe it, and I'm trying to stay out of the Vegetarian/Overweight issues with Prince and claim that his problem is mechanics.
Stevo is saying that it's his mechanics, you say it's his power from not eating meat. But you agree with Stevo, so what is it? I'm leaning more towards mechanics of his swing or over swinging as his problem. I highly doubt a steak is what Prince needs to hit the ball over the fence, but hey I could be wrong - it wouldn't be the first time.
I don't really care, I guess sportscasters don't annoy me that much because I can tune them out if I want to. There is this great new invention during a game, I realized it during the Daron Sutton era... called a volume button http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif. Seriously though he's probably run his course and could be replaced, but then you could say that for a lot of ESPN.
I love Tavarez, I really do. Cutting that ball off - whether or not there is a close play - but what in the world are you standing there for? Then walking back to the mound as if he just struck someone out. Lovin' you Julian.
