    Well here we go again to the bottom of the 9th. I don't have a real good feeling about this game, didn't really have one all game but maybe they'll prove me wrong.

    Ben Sheets as the second lead-off hitter? That should work, no problems. Where was this about Hardy complaining? I must have missed it, not that I question it.

    Lovin' the Brewers right now, lovin' them. Actually, I did rather like that comeback tonight in the 6th. But after we failed to score in the next two I thought that the game might go down the crapper. Freakin Yost! Was it just me, or was the ump real inconsistent tonight - I wasn't on the in-game thread but he just seemed to not even have a zone.

    At the time Vargas was released we had Sheets, Gallardo, Capuano, Bush, Suppan, Parra, and Vargas. 2 of them had to go, you could have argued that Bush, Capuano, or Vargas should have been cut but then it was Vargas. Our rotation still looked promising but two season ending injuries later and now the move looked like the wrong one. Not much Doug could have done. I don't think cutting Vargas was necessarily the right or wrong move, if he cuts Capuano and then Cappy got injured he would have looked like a genius. But if he cut Bush and Bush had a few decent outtings we'd be saying the same thing.

    I like the way McClung is pitching. - Here it is: hit it. He's just going after these guys, and they're hitting at people. I know this strategy doesn't work all the time, but so far I like it.

    It sounds better now, for a while it sounded really muffled, as if their mics were turned up too high or something. *Edit - nevermind, it still sounds like garbage. Oh well, I should survive.

    Game is on WMLW 41, so I'm guessing Madison area cable won't be getting this one on TV tonight right?

    I agree SoCal. Anyone besides Braun (and obviously Yo because we need pitching) can go if it nets the Brewers a top end starter. If Sheets can't be resigned that is. This season makes it pretty clear how important pitching (and defense!!) is to winning. And as long as aren't trotting out a lineup full of TGJ's I think the Brewers will be able to score runs fairly consistently, never mind last night.
