  1. I recall Brady's first game at Lambeau. Both Favre and Rodgers were injured, Rodgers out for the season. Pats killed us, of course, but I don't remember the score. Bucs at Lambeau also brings flashbacks to the snow bowl in 1985.
  2. I'm responding to this proposal. I can't speak for anyone else. Oh, I understand- I was merely hoping to determine the origin of the conversation rather than any of the specific points discussed. I’m genuinely curious if this was sparked by anything more than one story, or if there are actually wider-spread plans to accelerate teacher vaccinations. Both. Was Janesville a trial balloon? MPS also sent an email to all personnel, called a mistake soon after, and corrected. Was it really a mistake, who knows. We do know there's plenty of time to reallocate the vaccine going to Janesville teachers, but last I heard they're still getting it. It's as simple as saying sorry, no you're not getting it. Not as long as healthcare workers and nursing home/ assisted living residents are still waiting. As Machu said, yes teachers are essential workers. And, for the record, no I never said or implied all teachers are 28 and healthy. Anyhow, I will be watching 1B to see if factory workers or Kwik Trip workers get kicked behind teachers. Especially the 75+ age group. They shouldbe at the top of 1B. 1B will essentially be cut into many groups as batches of vaccine arrives. Should it be all/ mostly teachers in the first groups? No, not when the risk of dealing with children is so much smaller than most other work places. Should go to 75+ first, and anyone high risk of any age, any occupation. That "high risk" has potential to be abused, and would have to be defined. But that population should be next, not young healthy teachers, factory workers, truck drivers, or anyone else. I would change essential workers to 1C I guess, to make it simple.
  3. Unfortunately they use your ip address...so those games would be blacked out. I've had something similar happen to me in reverse. I was trying to watch the Coyotes in AZ on NHL.TV...and I couldn't. The place I was staying did not carry the channel they were on. Blackout rules are outdated and need to be updated to current times. It's kind of like having the a city speed limit of 12mph for horseless carriages so the horses don't get spooked (actual law in Connecticut from 1901) in today's society. https://nordvpn.com/??? You can connect to different servers around the world allowing you to appear as if you are in a certain region... I think... The leagues have caught on to that, vpn doesn't work anymore. Well, it works, but local team is blacked out.
  4. If he rushes 3 I'm quitting the internet.
  5. Shout out to another plater who gets a lot of crap. Has a pass been completed against Kevin King yet?
  6. Great decision by Austin, less he touches the ball the better.
  7. Crosby's shoulder hurt I guess? He still kicked a FG after that though, get out there and bang it through. 2 points lost now.
  8. First turnover of the game, Pack with the ball to start the 2nd half.
  9. Yea, I don't mind the risk/reward of Rodgers trying to Favre one in there at the end of the half.
  10. Close. I think he's a middle-earther. He denies the middle of the field exists.
  11. MLF is so much better than MM in every way.
  12. I also know of a health care company where many workers that never come into contact with patients (IT, accounting, etc.) have been immunized while many nurses, PAs, Techs, etc. have not. And....it's not been very good for morale.
  13. Well, yeah. Many state legislatures and the outgoing administration haven't hid the fact that they consider in-person school an extremely high priority. Sure. The only problem with that is giving the vaccine to healthy 28 year old teachers before 1A is even close to being completed. Having teachers being included in 1B is debatable to begin with, but including them as de facto 1A population is another story.
  14. As someone who has been on both sides of this situation my advice would be this: keep it simple, straightforward, and short. Odds are this probably isn't going to be a surprise to them. When I've done it HR was usually involved and let them handle the details. Agreed. Nothing you say will make them feel better, so don't make it worse for both of you searching for the right thing to say. It sucks but it's part of life. And it sounds like it's the right decision, so remind yourself of that important fact. Firing people was never fun for me either, but I rarely lost sleep over it because it was necessary- and yea, they usually knew it was coming. Sometimes even a relief.
  15. Teachers getting vaccine before the elderly, that was predictable.
  16. How do you reheat? It takes a while, but about 3-4 minutes on low power (3) in the microwave does the trick if you don't want to wait for a toaster oven to heat up to reheat it. Because the slices are so thick, sometimes I've had to eat the edges then put the middle back in the microwave for a minute. Pro tip. Cut each square of Rockys in half, reheats much more evenly.
  17. Yea, plus what I heard from a lot of people working in medical facilities, they didn't want to get immunized right before Christmas. Not sure why you wouldn't want it when you had the chance, but that's what I heard.
  18. He has 23 fumbles???? Does that even include muffs? That is an unfathomable number of fumbles per touch. Yea, I will skip the ceiling and take the floor of fair catcges and no turnovers.
  19. They never put teams away early when they have the chance. Not since last week, no.
  20. Rodgers with perfect QB rating heading towards half. Does that qualify as a Quality Start, or does he need a couple more innings?
  21. Really close, but ruling is fumble so we should be up 21-10 shortly.
  22. These are all good questions, no doubt. In the meantime there's plenty of elderly next in line. Just keep the process moving forward.
