  1. HiAndTight could put up an easy 20 on Augustine. I recall defense was not his specialty, had no idea how bad.
  2. Besides the hundreds of guys like Urias during those 3 years who aren't good enough to stick.
  3. Spectrum is always cheap the first year, still deciding whether to pull the trigger. I need to accept the fact I may have to change providers at least once a year.
  4. .879 Playoffs .985 NLCS Also, 3 Septembers at .744+ I absolutely take that into account, not just game 163.
  5. Max Lazar doesn't need to appear in a ST game. Everyone knows he is the truth.
  6. Let's talk Tombstone. Have they changed it? That's all we got at home growing up, my parents still get them. Out of nostalgia I've tried them a couple times recently. That is the most god awful crust ever. Taste, mouth feel, the consistency..just horrible. Maybe I didn't know the difference at 15 or whatever, but I swear they've changed it,
  7. Meh, at least it keeps her away from the royal family stuff. Don't get me started on that.
  8. True, good point. I'm hoping the physicians are good advocates for their patients and are alerting the "powers that be" that patient x really needs to be on the top of the list. We'll see, I'll find out soon enough wit the people in my life at least.
  9. There is no enforcing, just honor system. Which sounds like a horrible idea. It is, and it's why I've been trying to explain why I'll wait a bit. Primary care physicians could have forwarded people with severe conditions to their HCN, and that should have been the group after 75+ and healthcare workers. Far from perfect, it would be subjective, but at least you would capture most people who really need the vaccine. As it stands, you could have lung cancer and a healthy 20 year old jumps in front of you.
  10. David Freitas crushed AAA pitching too.
  11. There is a limit to cap gymnastics. Packers would have loved to have Linsley back, they're just never going to do a massive deal for an interior lineman, at any age. As for Jones, a little surprised to see so many people don't like it. Almost nobody, including myself, thought he was gone. But he's back at a home town discount. Dillon is a nice RB, Jones is a home run hitter. Really hoping they restructure the others and free up cap space for a good CB and ILB. Then add some talent through the draft, and that's an A+ off-season.
  12. Not sure if you're referring to me diectly or indirectly, but I think I can clear this up. By delaying my own immunization, I am not delaying the system in any way. When a new group is eligible, my health care provider sends an emaul, and you schedule an appt on their app. If I don't respind, plenty of people will, and the shots in arms never misses a beat. It's personal for me. I have family members and friends who should have been immunized by now due to their health conditions. I am not stepping in front of them, period. We're reaching critical mass, it will be very easy for me to get immunized in amonth or two, once people who have chronic health issues are immunized. That's simply not disrupting tge system in any way. For those of you worried about efficiency, the HCNs are doing a horrible job of updating records if someone was immunized elsewhere. Quick example, my parents got their shots through Walgreens. I constantly get emails from HCN to schedule covid vaccine. But no button in email or mychart to select immunized elsewhere, etc. Woyld be very simple. Instead, I called, wasting my time and the nurses's. But it's still happening almost a month later. It's that kind of stuff that wastes time, and could be easily fixed.
  13. Maybe we are just going go have a year where we have 53 guys signed to the veteran minimum and use the rest of the cap to eat all our dead contracts. That's fairly close to reality, and what they should be doing. Some of us have been calling for this for a longggg time. Give Rodgers a couple more years with as much talent around him as possible. If they have $50MM in dead cap 4 years down the road, sobeit. You can rebuild fast in the NFL.
  14. Not necessarily. This latest group eligible 3/29 is so large, many providers have already said they have no way to distinguish a pecking order. I can wait another month if it means there's a chance someone with severe health conditions can get it immediately.
  15. If I'm contacted, that's exactly what I'm saying. Other people need this before me. Hopefully most people, especially young healthy people will do the same.
  16. Bottom line, $10MM in cap savings. $7MM for Smith, $3MM for Amos. Now any further restructures for Rodgers, Adams, Z Smith creates room under the cap. Keepinf in mind they still need cap space for this year's draft class.
  17. Arcia hits in September/ October, let's not forget that. Yea, small sample, but it's not like it was one series. He had arguably more hits in big moments than just about anyone else. Not so sure that's random. As an original member of the Arcia bandwagon, I still have faith. But I do totally get the frustration.
  18. Speaking of UK tv series, The Fall is really good, set in Northern Ireland. Then there's a while genre of European crime dramas from Iceland, Norway, Finland....Italy that range from good to outstanding. Trapped is a good example, but we've seen 6 or 7 series during the past year, highly recommend. Yes, there are subtitles, but got used to that very quickly actually. They're cool because where they're set, actors all from in-country, and just a different feel than Holltwood made stuff. No, it's not artsy tv, maybe sounds that way. Just really good crime drama.
  19. Yea, I have seen the Lavar Balls of the world in youth sports, and it's not pretty. One could say it's what got his sons to where they are today. We'll never know, maybe they had the talent and would have made it anyhow with a different approach. What I CAN guarantee you is Lavar does not feel vindicated. Extreme narcissists don't need vindication, because they know they're never wrong.
  20. What's wrong with promoting your son(s)? Sincerely, LaVar Ball
  21. Yea, they brought up Diakite the same day too. They need to give these guys (and Nwora) some run and see if they can contribute. Their bench is all kinds of bad, and they need someone to step up. Powell undersized off the bench doesn't mean much, NBA is pretty position-less these days. Matters more on the defensive side of the court, but pretty sure he can't be worse than Augustine defensively.
  22. No excuse, but he doesn't get many attempts. Strikes me as a guy who probably shoots 90% in practice.
  23. Guessing in 8 pages someone has brought it up, but Garcia has played 3B in the past. Is that a possibility? Also, Garcia or Yelich could play some 1B I would think?
  24. Yea, looking at that list is pretty bleak after the big two. Peralta almost has to get another shot in that rotation.
