Whats the best way about getting tickets? I have heard scalpers in the lots. I just would be totally scared to go there and not be able to get anything. Stub Hub? Craigslist? I know we in Milwaukee don't have a lot of experience but I don't care what it takes I am going to be in the temple on Saturday.

Thanks..that worked! I'm feeling pretty stupid for not thinking of that. I used to work for a cell company and that seriously fixes 90% of the "weird" problems with cell phones. Its just like a computer. Always try popping the battery out and back in or shutting it down and a lot of the time thats all ya need to do.

Best part about Chico's was that after the bars closed you could get a burrito and order a beer even after 2:30. They would just pour it into a styrofoam soda cup. Awesome place.

Lots of great food ideas here. I have hear about Papaya King. I am assuming they are basically all over the place? Brooklyn? Katz's sounds awesome. I love old fashioned places like that.

I could do without them too, but the more money this team makes the better players we can afford to keep. If it means having to ignore some idiots when I am there to keep the talent level up that is something I am more than willing to do.

The crowd called for him to speak and he was invited to the event. As for "calling out Torre." He was joking around, as someone stated the rivalry between the Dodgers and Giants is a pretty good one out in California and Barry was joking around about that to play it up for the fans. The guy is a jerk but sometimes its better to leave well enough alone.

That Italian place sounds awesome! As much as I love me some steak I think the price will often limit what we can do with that. Lots of really awesome ideas for food and what not here. Anyone have any info on bars and things to see? Thanks again for all the suggestions.

Any neighborhoods you suggest SF? I love Italian neighborhoods, so I am sure we will walk around Little Italy, but I have heard its gotten really squeezed lately. I don't really have much interest in going to Chinatown. I love Polish food and culture so if anyone knows of any good Polish neighborhoods that would be sweet. I just like authentic stuff kind of off the beaten path. No chains restaurants or crappy franchises for me.

Although I love the brunch ideas we will be coming into NYC on Monday and leaving on Friday afternoon so no dice for the weekend brunches. That being said I believe the Brooklyn Brewery is out as well. I do like the ideas for the bars and food. Keep 'em coming!

I am not a graphic designer, but my best buddy is and has been using Macs for years. I asked him and he said if you are going to be going into design that he would absolutely suggest the MacBook Pro.

I just rewound it on my DVR and I can't see Manny saying anything. I see him slam the jacket on the bench and kind of look over at Prince and then Prince goes off. You can see Manny kind of say something over to Prince as he is being restrained and pointing to the bench. You can also read JJ's lips with a "what the heck are you doing?" Best part of the whole thing is that Yost doesnt even move from his seat the whole time even though he is within a body length of the ruckus. He visibly is sitting there looking at his scoresheet as there are five players plus Mike Maddux restraining Prince.

I love the Beer Garden idea. Especially if we get some nice hot and sweat summer weather.

Alright fellow Brewefans. I am going to be in NYC from 8/25-8-29. I have been there twice already so I have seen a lot of the touristy things and I have never really been into that scene. I would love to get some advice from you NYC peeps or others who know the low down on what to do when you want to get away from the scene a little. Here are some facts about myself and my traveling companions that might help steer us in the right direction. 1. We are three, mid 20 year old guys who work in a bar. So we like to drink but are also on somewhat of a budget. 2. We will be staying in Brooklyn and making trips into Manhattan. 3. We all LOVE music so if there any good bands playing or places that kind of group that whole thing together it would be appreciated. We are indie rock kids who grew up listening to punk rock so anything in those genres get extra points. 4. If any of you are familiar with Milwaukee we would be much more apt to hang out on Brady Street and in Bay View than we would Water Street or Milwaukee Street. Things I already have on my list are - Walking the Brooklyn Bridge at night - Museum of Natural History - Checking out the view from the top of Rockefeller Center - Spending some time walking around Central Park - Coney Island for all of its supposed awful greatness - Taking pictures in Grand Central - Some bars we have on our list are: Milk and Honey, Union Pool and Barcade -Tenemant museum - St. patrick's Cathedral - Big Jon Lennon fans so we want to see the Dakota and Strawberry Fields - and of course urinating in the subway at 4:33 am jk.... kind of - And lastly we are catching the Yanks - Red Sox game on Wed. Should be fun Let me know if you like the ideas, if things are overrated or worth the trip. Lots and lots of ideas are def appreciated. Thanks guys

First things I thought of when I saw the thread was In N Out Burger and Del Taco. Anytime I see either of these places when I am out of town I stop. I think I just might have fond memories of being out on the road with my friends and experiencing them both, but dang do they hit the spot.

Just got back from seeing it. Heath Ledger is amazing in it and everyone else plays their parts very well. The film is 2 1/2 hours long but it kept my interest the entire time. I would totally recommend it. I will actually probably end up seeing it again in the next few days. Definetly a movie to see on the big screen.
