  1. Seattle has a huge market in Japan.
  2. Yeah we see a lot more traffic this time of year heading to and from the Dells and northern Wisconsin.
  3. Hard to say without knowing what processor and motherboard you have.
  4. Wisconsin is Low A.
  5. I like it because it gives a larger advantage to the 3 teams that win their division and also increases the advantage to the team with the better wild card record. My issue with the system is that the team with the 5th best record could bring out a super hot pitcher and ride him to the DS.. Yeah your pen will be tired and you may have some issues with some starting pitching depth, but next season win your division. I don't care if a team wears out their pen for the next round. I care about who moves on being decided by a crapfest of pitching.
  6. I don't like a double header because that could cause all kinds of issues with starting pitching. You will end up with at least one game where they have to do starter by committee. One really crappy game.
  7. Marlins? Are the Marlins really small market? They are run by a scumbag so he kind of intentionally tanked his team a few times.
  8. I don't care if it's the first second or third out at 3B. I can understand doing it if he gets caught once in a while trying to extend a double, just don't get caught stealing at 3B. It's premeditated and easily avoidable.
  9. Costing your team outs on the bases seems like something worth getting bent out of shape over. I don't have a huge problem with making outs on the bases while being aggressive. Getting caught stealing bases is not good though, especially at 3B.
  10. I am upset with the deal we had in place with the Mets because it was a crappy deal. I am glad they backed out and we got a better deal.
  11. I can live with making outs at 3b if you are trying to stretch a double into a triple. A CS at 3b is pretty unacceptable. It is premeditated. You should only steal 3b if the 3b is being completely oblivious to the base.
  12. Thrawn appeared in Star Wars Rebels? Nice. I really have to watch that now. The Thrawn Trilogy was the best EU I ever read.
  13. It does matter if it hurts his value in a trade.
  14. Here is a link to the Macbook 2016 tear down on ifixit. They gave it a 1 out of 10 with 10 being the easiest. Looks like they found the Air a little easier to fix. Proprietary parts though. Hard drives should not be proprietary. They fail way to often for that. I have seen some laptops that are a huge pain to do anything with. Pretty much anything that doesn't have screws on the bottom is going to be a giant pain to upgrade or fix.
  15. Haswell is the 4th generation of the "i" processors. You can tell by the number. The first digit of the four digit number indicates the generation. 4th Haswell, 5th Broadwell, and 6th Skylake. I hate hardwired RAM. Processors are no longer the limiting factor on computers. It is nice to be able to add some RAM. Storage is probably upgradable on all of them. Some will probably be easier than others and you really have to know what you are doing. I would guess the Airs are practically impossible to upgrade on your own.
  16. Yeah it is kind of confusing. This is his 10th year but he came up part way through his first year. I assume he still gets credit for service time during his suspension.
  17. You kind of have to work backwards from the graphics to figure out the processor. Anything from 4th generation on should be pretty good. The main reason you might want something 6th gen or newer is thry are compatible with faster RAM, but that probably won't make a difference to most people. If you are doing more than word processing and internet browsing I would avoid the Core M processors. They are ultra low power, which is why they are fanless. For example my i5 desktop processor uses 84w and the Core M's use about 4.5w. Less power = longer battery life or smaller battery and lighter.
  18. Intel has a 4 core mobile processor from at least the 4th generation on. They didn't have one in the i5 line but there were a few in the i7 line. Granted, most laptops use the 2 core U processors most of the time. Which is probably fine for most people. It looks like the Macbook line is using the Core m processors which I would definitely avoid but would be good for most people. I am kind of disappointed Apple really tries to obfuscate the specific processor they are using. I understand why they are doing it though. Most people would be scared off spending that much on old technology even if it works better.
  19. Braun doesn't have 10 years of service time until some time next season.
  20. No idea. The only one talking is Boras and we know he has an agenda. We don't even know if Davies said anything to Boras. I believe he probably did since I would guess at the very least Boras called him to ask.
  21. If every player eliminates their worst trait the team will be better. Problem is every player has flaws some are just more obvious than others. One other thing we should keep in mind is aggressive base running isn't the only way to make stupid mistakes on the base paths, just the most noticeable. Not taking second when you could then the next guy comes up and hits into a double play is also stupid base running. But nobody notices that. Ditto for not going first to third when you can or tagging and moving up a base when you can. Those are all also mistakes but they never get noticed or counted against the conservative base runner. Those plays are a little easier to deal with than a CS at 3b.
  22. I am not so sure how upset Davies really is. Boras likes to shoot off his mouth now and then just to position himself later in negotiations. He doesn't always act in the best interest of the players he represents.
  23. August might be interesting this year as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see some guys traded after going trough waivers.
  24. We got a new router today and our internet is literally almost 10x faster. We went from 2.39Mbps down and 0.40Mbps up to 23.74 Mbps down and 2.11 Mbps up. This is also what's bugging me since we found out this was possible completely by accident.
