Planning on making a trip down to New Glarus on Friday. Does anybody have any helpful information on the brewery or the surrounding area? I would like to give Michelob a little credit for trying to make new "craft" type beers. I know they really are mostly interested in making money off of it, but still they are making an effort. They also did one really good thing on the label of their Hop Hound Amber Wheat. Pouring instructions.(pour out all but 1/2 inch, put bottle on table on it's side, roll gently, pour rest in glass is the short version) I have only come across this a couple of other times. Guinness Draught(leave in bottle, also had a serving temperature) and I think one of the Goose Island beers. Ideally it would be nice to see 2 things on a beer label, bottled date and pouring instructions including information on the proper type of glass and proper serving temperature. BTW, Hop Hound, not very hoppy or wheaty. I am not buying it again. Still better than the typical Bud or Miller stuff.
