I think the post quality is way better during the off season. There seems to be less emotion and more thought put into posts. I am not trying to say that all my posts or even most are gold(or even bronze, heck some are poor). I think the major thing is there is a lot less venting which seems to carry over into other threads.

I think it is obvious that Manny was going back to the clubhouse to eat the last jelly filled donut and Fielder was upset. That's when he motioned towards the field and said "I called dibs out there." You would have to agree that there are fewer donuts to go around now that Sabathia is on the team.

Meh, *shrug* I have a hard time getting to excited about this. I think Prince overreacted, but I doubt anything comes of it. I am not surprised that we got nothing in interviews out of either Yost or anybody else. We heard about the same thing with the incident last year. Did anybody really expect anything other than "none of your business."

You are really making TLB's case for him. I really don't care what people vent in this thread. It does bother me that the stuff you have posted in this thread is eerily similar to things others have posted in other threads as support of their arguments. The vents as arguments are tiresome.

    Wow, that's pretty cool.

Top 5 only. 1. Hart 2. Weeks 3. Sheets - would be higher, but I am preparing for his loss in the offseason 4. Braun - makes the list because of the 8 year contract 5. Hardy

There were hints at a plot behind Gears of War especially at the end. It would be nice to find out why the Locust are making sink holes other than "cause they're bad." By the way, the COOP in GOW was awesome. Way better than Halo 3. I liked how people could drop in if you started the level.

The JS and TH have been pretty bad for the last week. TH had big news about Attanasio selling his beach home on Friday. Add his ill timed blog on Weeks, who is getting better now, and they are way off lately.

MLB LF .273/.343/.445/.788 MLB RF .267/.342/.442/.784 AL DH .251/.337/.427/.764 Griffey .249/.358/.432/.790 Don't know what they traded, but I think they traded for an average player. I can see why Dusty would have wanted to get rid of him as his stats look like a base clogger to me.

Yes, there is. The Brewers have been a really bad team for most of the years he has pitched for us.

His start before we acquired CC wasn't very good either. All of May looks pretty shaky as well. He just spread out the hits a little better then and didn't walk anybody.

Career stats of .260/.360/.426/.726 batting leadoff leads me to believe that he is fine hitting leadoff. That would be good enough for 9th best OBP, 11th best SLG and 13th best OPS in the league this year. All of that with abnormally low stats this year.
  13. logan82
We have won 5 games he pitched in, but even McClung would likely have won 2-3 of those and maybe even all 5.

    Are you a chubby chaser?

When you do online shopping and click on a picture to get an "enlarged view" and the picture is the same size as the original picture.

No problem. I picked up one of the navy jerseys earlier this year and they are much more comfortable than the regular ones.
  17. logan82
Yeah, but Hall is at 3B.
  18. logan82
The Navy Jerseys are much cooler than the white/gray ones. They have mesh in the armpits and are made of a lighter material. Cool Base

No more platoon in the 5th spot. Glad that is over already. I was expecting it to go on for another month.
  20. logan82
True, but I am not going to worry about it until it is probably the last week of the season. As long as we play well, I will be happy.

I have been playing the Too Human demo quite a bit. The camera is a little tough to get used to and it is strange using the right stick for attacking. Can't wait for the game to come out though. The Bionic Commando remake is coming out on 8/13/08. XBLA and PSN as downloadable content.

Who has the most money that I would et during the divorce?

I wouldn't mind seeing the Cardinals sweep the Cubs in those games. Cubs end up in third. Doesn't matter to me how those games end up really. As long as we take care of our business we will end up ahead of somebody. I hope you weren't cheering for the Cubs this week Russ.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

How could those have possibly have been statement games? We weren't playing for anything in them. If he hustled, he'd have been safe at first If Soriano make anything but a horrible throw the play isn't even close.

    Chick sounds crazy. Stay away.
