  1. Why are so many people blaming Yost for this loss? CoCo blew it. CoCo has a job and he didn't get it done tonight. It was bound to happen.
  2. Well we are still in 1st place and the Cubs and Cards are not showing much sign of catching up. It almost feels like the Brewers could go all season without another win and the worst they would do is a game out of first in the division. CoCo was bound to have a bad outing and now that is out of the way. Hopefully in the future he will give up singles runs at a time instead of bunches. Should also make him a little cheaper to keep next year. Also shows how volatile relief pitching can be.
  3. It didn't happen.
  4. I don't like threads getting locked when the thread we are directed to is over a month old. I understand why it is done, but I doubt somebody is going to go much past the first page looking for a thread before starting a new one.
  5. 1)Hart 2)Hardy 3)Fielder 4)Braun 5)Menchkins 6)Hall 7)Estrada 8) Weeks I originally had Weeks leading off, but I like Hart up there better. He dosen't seem to strike out as much as Weeks. I think there is a better chance of Hart driving in Weeks than Weeks driving in Hart. The order dosen't really matter to much to me except for Estrada batting 6-7, Hardy batting 2 and Fielder batting 3-4. That and Menchkins batting 5-6. (Edit: fixed ezBoard emoticon bug --1992casey)
  6. Like bjkrautk said 1080p is probably out of your price range, but I would like to add that you can't really tell the difference between 1080p and 720p untill you get into the sets that are 42" and bigger.
  7. The only time I really don't mind flipping the bat or showboating a little is if it is a walkoff. If you hit a homer earlier in the game to me it is like football players making a big deal about getting a first down in the first quarter.
  8. I don't like players watching their homers much. I think othe players should act like Prince does when he hits one. He pauses a little bit, but not enough to show up the pitcher. Watching your homers or flipping your bat is a good way to get the next guy in the lineup plunked.
  9. At least Villanueva is guaranteed lots of innings with all the short starts by Vargas.
  10. At least Bush and Estrada didn't get into a shoving match in the dugout after the 7th inning.
  11. I have always been a little nervous about Shouse because he seems to come in and get down 2-0 on almost every hitter. He does seem to have the stats to back up the fact he is a good LOOGY, but he is really hard to watch. I like relievers that throw strikes.
  12. Fielderesque with the high finish.
  13. I saw a store display with it in a Pick N Save. I didn't see the beer anywhere, but I got the impression they were getting it soon.
  14. When my friends were still in college we would buy a pack of PBR and drink it before going out to the bars. The first one goes down rough, but everything tastes like water after that.
  15. I like Summer Shandy. It is good in warm weather. My favorite beer is Hacker Pschorr Weiss.
  16. Is anybody else having problems with the game? I am just getting the commercials.
  17. I won a skateboard, birdhouse, deck once. I don't skateboard so I think it is still sitting around somewhere.
  18. So I heard today they are having a hard time keeping up with demand on Summer Shandy. I couldn't find any 12-packs and asked the owner of the liquor store if they had any. He said they couldn't keep up with demand and were going to cut back their distribution area. No more shipping it to the Twin Cities. Also going to start brewing it in Milwaukee.
  19. Watching Cubs get into fights in the dugout makes me happy. EDIT: There is a good chance all of our regular/everyday players will finish with a higher batting average than the .271 Hall posted last year which led the Brewers.
  20. Maybe we should bat Estrada in front of Hall so he gets some walks. I swear most of the IBB this year are to the guy in front of Hall.
  21. Mastershake76, you forgot to put suck in a couple of your sentences.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  22. At least it should be easier to move to better seats. EDIT: I would also like to add I have never before taken much time to look at what other teams are doing. Since we have started losing many, many games I find myself looking at the scores of other teams to see how many games they are gaining on us. So I guess teh Brewers losing has made me more interested in MLB and not just the Brewers.
  23. We are 13-15 in May right now. Most people thought going .500 for the month of May would be pretty good.
  24. I find it surprising that somebody wouldn't like Sheets' personality. I guess it is a matter of opinion, but I like his laid back personality. Seems to have fun, but take his pitching very seriously. I would like to point out Sheets has a multi hit year this year.
  25. Ben Sheets' problem is Ben Sheets. What I mean by that is he has been effective, but he hasn't been the strikeout pitcher we are used to seeing. He is having good starts, but not making opposing hitters look foolish with his big curve like he has in the past.
