Randy is having himself a real good game. way to get that bunt down buddy. -
Chase Headley and Jason Bartlett

Love the thought of getting those 2 guys, but I don't think that deal gets it done. Not so sure Melvin will be looking to deal for any more than a rental at 3rd either, even though he apparently doesn't think enough of Taylor Green to give him a shot this year. -
hell yeah! After those first 2 games, i'm very satisfied with a series split.
-
this is absolutely agonizing.
-
cue the benny hill theme music. come on guys hold on to the ball!
-
I thought for sure that ball was headed for the seats! Ridiculous play!
-
nice hit Kottaras. and Rickie continues to do stupid things on the basepath.
-
some good stuff from Keith Law (ESPN) on twitter:
-
what is Corey doing lobbing that throw home??? Has he realized that the all-star break is over? Ridiculous.

http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/story/15316047/fielder-melvin-steal-allstar-night-for-brewers This guy seems to think that K-Rod is going to close. DM and RR couldn't be that stupid, could they? Not only would paying K-Rod (or any closer) $17MM next year be completely insane, but Axford is the better pitcher.
-
good move, let Mat go down and get regular at bats so that he doesn't get screwed up like he did under Macha. What are Scarpetta's numbers like?
-
good thing we took Ax out. this one hurts.
-
how does Yuni miss that?? Melvin really needs to do something about him over the break. enough is enough with this clown.
-
kind of surprising that Axford isn't back out there. only threw 11 pitches in the 9th.
-
If you caught a famous ball, what would you do?

apparently the guy got 4 suite tickets for every remaining home game, 3 signed jerseys, 3 signed balls and 3 signed bats. I think he did ok for himself. -
why does Roenicke leave Gamel on the bench to use Counsell??
-
Haudricourt tweeted that McGehee has options and Kotsay has a $100K roster bonus due Friday. Doubt that they'd send Casey down, but maybe they want to save that $100K and cut Kotsay.
-
sure would be nice to have Braddock right here.
-
Seriously loving the 2-out scores today, very few things drive me as nuts as when the Crew gives them up like that so it's great to be on the other end. Really nice games by Luc and Yuni so far.
-
Orioles have just walked in 2 runs to bring the Reds within 1.
-
Weeks is having a rough day at the plate. We can't leave Luc out there!
-
well that was a frustrating half inning. would have been nice to get at least one out of all of that.
-
not sure why we draw the infield in considering it's the 2nd inning. take the out.
-
Good to see Georgie boy back there against the lefty instead of Lucroy. Surely Wolf will throw a no-hitter now.
-
Casey's due for a HR, right?
