    In fact, with the exception of Katie Holmes, it is a superior cast. You obviously weren't looking close enough at the shirt she was wearing in the last scene. To me, this was the best superhero movie I have ever seen. I understand what people are saying about the choppy action scenes, but I think this goes along with the idea of Batman as a ninja. I also just rented The 40 Year Old Virgin. Probably not for the whole family, but I thought it was hilarious. I don't think it will stand up to repeated watchings like some of my favorite comedies, but after seeing it for the first time I thought it was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. In particular, the suporting cast was very funny. The movie could have taken the cheap route of creating a geeky character for the audience to laugh at, but instead they made a character that was very likable that audiences could almost cheer for. His suporting cast provided most of the laughs.

    Batman Begins The "fight scenes" were the worst part. You couldn't tell what the heck was going on. It was a bunch of people dressed in dark clothing, fighting in a darkly lit area, and half of the footage was someone's fist flying across the screen or something equally ambiguous. That was one of my favorite parts. I think the idea is that we are watching the fights from the point of view of an observer or another goon. Batman is a ninja who takes out the bad guys quickly and mysteriously. This creates fear among other goons. This isn't Tim Burton's version or Adam West. It is a new Batman who is much, much deeper. And I loved the way they used the idea of fear throughout the movie for developing Batman as well as the villans.

    Sweet...Yahoo sports didn't have a game listed today, so I thought they had the day off. Seemed weird with it being a sunday and fathers day so Im glad I checked this site out.

    But he had one of the all-time great baseball cards. Was that the one with swears written all over his bat...that was like gold to a 4th grader (i.e. me) at the time.

    Here's to hoing for a nice start by the Crew to keep people interested in the Brewers and brewerfan.net! If hoing is what its going to take, sign me up. The amount of excitement and discussion that is taking place here really is great and much better than last year.

    Was that really a "great play" by Belly, or did Estrada just completely stop running to first. It looked like he jogged the last half...anyone else notice that?
