    Hmm...maybe Sheets should have started the game instead of Clemmons. Since he was topping out at 98 his rookie year, what will he hit this year when pumped up. I think on opening day I saw him touch 98 this year, so who knows if he hits it again or goes even higher. On a negative note, Sheets trailed off after the Allstar game his rookie year because of soreness. Hopefully he relies on his mechanics to get good speed tonight and doesn't try to overthrow.

    Santos reminds me more of Phillip Michael Thomas of Miami Vice fame I always think of Santos L. Helper from when the dog got a credit card on the Simpsons. Im going to start calling him Victor Santos L Helper...lame, I know.

    I think we might have just witnessed the end of the Wes Obermueller era. Nedley looked mighty pissed when he went out to remove him. It seems like we say this after he give up every big inning...so at the end of every Obermueller start.

    Haha...stop talking about it Bill. I would love to see some shots of the dugout. I bet its pretty silent in there about the pitching. Of course its worthless without some offense.

    I thought Ben had a little more velocity than 86-88. I remember reading that he could touch the low 90s. Whats the deal?

    Not to take the conversation in a different direction, but it is time to sit Pods down for a game or two. Last year he hit a fatigue wall and his numbers dropped. After some time off, he pulled his average back up above .300. I know he is still getting on base, but I can't remember the last time I saw an average drop as fast as his has. Maybe if this game isn't played, Yost could give him tomorrow off too. Then 2 games before another break. Keep him out of the cage too for a bit or just let Butch at him. Just fix the problem. I dont mind eating my own words if it means a Brewers win.

    Thanks DHonks...I think I get it, that Jenks didn't buckle his knees or anything. It just confused me because it sounded like he was saying this is what Jenkins needs to do every AB, not just for offspeed stuff.
