I love it and would absolutely love for our rivalry with StL to get more intense like it was in 2011. And yeah, the baby was pretty awesome. -

RIP Tony. This is really, really sad news. I remember getting his autograph back in the day. I honestly had thought that surgery had corrected the damage done by his tobacco use. It's a tragedy that he is gone at such a relatively young age.

With his walk and SB in the first inning tonight at Citi Field, Braun surpassed Geoff Jenkins to move into fourth all time in total bases with 2189. The stolen base also put him into a tie with Tommy Harper for fourth all time with 136.

I think that if Lohse continues to pitch like this the remainder of this season, than the deal was definitely worth it. Even if he slips up a bit next year, to get one solid year and one outstanding year out of a guy who also seems to bring a lot to the table in the clubhouse in a hopefully playoff season is a deal I'd make every time. To me, bottom line is that if the Brewers do keep up the winning and make the playoffs this year, you want Kyle Lohse to take the hill in the post-season.

Very confused about what all the drama is with the umps tonight. This call that RR is challenging seems pretty clear upon review. Showalter saying something earlier tonight as well.

With his two RBI's in tonight's game, Braun is now tied for fourth on the franchise's all-time list with Geoff Jenkins at 704. Kind of cool to see him climb up these lists on such a regular basis.
