This thread has gotten me to download a few RAW's and the Money in the Bank PPV. I was a fan as a kid (80's/90's) until around the year 2000ish, but lost interest. I have a question... what's with all the belts? It's kind of ridiculous. There's at least 3 belts that seem like they would be the best belt... is there a ranking of them that everyone is aware of or do they just leave that a gray area? The Cena/CM Punk belt, Christian has a belt, and then The Miz has a belt if I remember correctly. How do those rank and why are there 3 "top" belts? I know they inherited the US Title from WCW I guess, but it seems excessive and dilluting to the various champions.

I'm very okay with the trade no matter how good Lawrie becomes. He was just a good prospect at the time and Marcum was a proven great pitcher. Having another Dave Bush / Braden Looper / 4/5 guy instead of Marcum would probably mean we are in 2nd place in the division at this point. Love Marcum, love that we have him next year as well... love the deal no matter what.

My ladyfriend and I are probably doing an east coast road trip this early September. If any of you guys have any tips on places to eat (we would love to eat as much seafood as possible during this trip) or places to check out in/between the following areas, please feel free to chime in. Cleveland, OH Niagara Falls, NY Cooperstown, NY Waterbury, VT Boston, MA Hartford, CT Washington, DC Baltimore, MD Pittsburgh, PA As of right now I wanna do the R'n'R HOF, the Baseball HOF, The Ben & Jerry Factory Tour, Fenway Park, Camden Yards, and see a game at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. This trip will be very food and baseball based, which just so happen to be two of my main interests. Thanks for any tips or guidance you can give me, guys.

I don't know if anyone watches MLB Network constantly on weeknights like I do, but boy do I hate Jerry Manuel. He is like putting Davey Nelson on the MLB Network. He can't speak well, and when he does he rambles on and on and interrupts the entire flow of the show, interrupting the other guys and not knowing when to talk and when not to. He's ruining my MLB Network experience. He's been on a lot the last week or so, not sure if he was just a "once in awhile" guy before that or if he's totally new, but I hope it doesn't last long.

I like those odds, too. I did a very scientific run-through of the last two months and have them winning 87 or 88 games, and I think that will be enough to win the division. I'd love to be wrong and win more, of course.

His versatility and seemingly decent-to-good defense make me like this trade a lot. He can play a ton of different positions and we can plug him in whenever someone is struggling. And it's cheaper than a Dodger SS probably would've been. Love it.

I'd feel pretty comfortable with pretty much anyone but Dillard tonight. I guess if it was me calling the shots I'd have Saito or Hawkins finish it.

Is there a reason some people think K-Rod will finish this game rather than Axford? I feel like they've both been consistent and Axford is younger, therefore if one of the two can go a 4th day in a row it's Axford. Just curious what others think about that.

I have a feeling Carroll is going to end up with St. Louis. As we get closer to the deadline I get closer to thinking we're going to stick with what we have and get a lefty reliever post-deadline.

I'm not saying Counsell SHOULD last longer than Wilson and Betancourt, but I believe he would if they acquired 2 more IF's this week. -

I realize you're (probably) joking, but adding two IF's is completely doable. You DFA Wilson and then Betancourt. I doubt Lopez will come up to the majors before September UNLESS we can't get the guy we really want this week. -

I don't trust that Furcal would actually stay healthy throughout the rest of the season, but if Taylor Green would actually be considered to play 2B or 3B, I agree we would only need one more IF... I just don't have any faith that they're going to bring him up before September at this point. -
I know I'm not the first person to think or say this, but I really hope that they make a move for both Carroll AND Barmes... or at least get 2 IF's this week. It would work out perfectly to have one of them playing 2B while Weeks is gone and the other one playing either SS or 3B... and then have both of them playing 3B and SS after Weeks returns. If Furcal is involved you need 2 more IF's just because of how injury prone he is. I hope they can make it happen... it seems like they could if they really wanted to.
