True. Turcotte signs a 3 year entry deal. I read badgers have 2 US development goalies signed...hope they plan out.

College Hockey Insider says he spoke with someone this weekend who mentioned that things were dicey in Madison all year and a handful of players were not on board with Granato. FWIW.

Gotcha. We were on the far end, so I wanted to see a replay, but live it did look like he dove out at the shooter, so that makes sense. I was happy to see Verona win after that, although I typically cheer against them since they beat us 10-2 in the quarterfinals in 2002. Ha

I went to the high school championship game today. Verona bear Notre Dame 2-1 in OT. Soft goal that was maybe tipped. However, Verona had 2 goals called back because of goalie interference. They showed the replay on the first one...it was iffy. The second one they didnt show and there was only 3 minutes left in the game, but it didnt look like it in real time.

What a dumpster fire of a game. Not sure why Berry got the nod. Hopefully they figure it out for tomorrow. I didnt like the OSU matchup because of Nappier, but I thought they had a chance.

. OSU got the point that they needed but the Badgers got the 3 on 3 winner in OT. Can't complain too much considering they were down 3 nothing and scored the last 4 goals. Buckeyes are probably privately thinking they rather have faced Michigan State next week For sure. Honestly. I'd hate to have to play Wisconsin. They have so much talent. They could easily make a run. One thing going for OSU is they are gonna be playing with house money. They'll be in the tourny regardless.

If the Badgers dont come back go win tonight they will be heading back to OSU next weekend. I dont like that. Napier is a stud between the pipes. If they come back then they head to Minnesota.

Rumor has it that Illinois is going to announce a start of a D1 program.

Basically, the home team has to have an emergency goalie in case the 2 goalies on the roster get injured. They can try to recall a minor league goalie if they find out about the injury/illness early enough. It is a pretty cool story. Ayers isnt the first emergency goalie to get used either. The Blackhawks had to do it about 2 years ago.

I think he catches Gretzky if his health holds. He was the fastest from 600 to 700. I assume it will continue.

The first goal of the game was a real softy that was on Lebedeff. Any D1 goalie should never give up at that one. For sure. My buddy was out a few weeks ago and ran into Lebedeff and his parents. Ssid the parents were talking about how hes going pro. Lebedeff wasnt saying anything. After the game my buddy goes, 'that guy ain't going pro'. I thought the Badgers played relatively well defensively and were done in by some poor goaltending. I noticed Caufield out there with about 5 different lines. If it's me I put him with Turcotte and Ahcan or Baker from day 1.

Papa John's is not like it use to be, when it first came to my hometown, it was fresh and delicious. Over the years, the quality has fallen. Thought I give another chance 6 months ago, it was bland and kinda on par with a Digiorno, only six dollars more expensive. Recently tried Marco's, that was pretty good, toppings were great, but the crust was a little off for some reason. The local Godfather's has an excellent Italian Meats pizza that's my fav right now. Best Frozen? Kinda favor Freschetta's, your mention of Emil's has peaked my interest though! Let the search begin!! Emils is pretty good. They have an emils seasoning which is good on any pizza, too.

MooseJaw in the Dells has a pretty good Taco pizza. I suggest getting the thin crust though, as the thick crust is too much dough. Edit: The Jacks Mexican pizza isn't bad right now. It's usually the only Jacks that I eat these days.

I actually prefer their frozens over the fresh. A great pizza! I prefer their fresh pizzas dining there, but yes, the frozen pizzas are excellent too. Have you ever dined in at their business, take out, or delivery? Or have you only had the frozen pizzas? All of the above. It is a tasty pie. I usually get extra sauce.

True. It was a weird game. The team in the student section end seemed to get all the action. I enjoyed it as my seats are right on the goal line. They had a few lucky bounces in the d-zone...

Very good, decent amount of spice. I'd do it again for certain! I liked it as well. Took the olives off and it was tight up my alley.

Had my own game tonight, so I wasnt able to see it, but we talked about this at the bar. Clearly something is wrong. Goaltending has been bad since Elliot, but they fail to score often. Frustrating.

Heine's Pizza in Minnesota Junction is pretty awesome. They have limited hours and are usually packed for being in the middle of nowhere. Edit: Forgot about Chances in Burnett. They only have 2 pizza ovens, so if you go in there you usually have to wait it out with a few cold ones. Haven't had it in awhile since they dont have a softball tournament any longer.
