Yea, I didnt get to see last nights game, but my dad said it was pathetic. Berry looked solid tonight and they actually played pretty well.

No, but the previews/commercials look pretty rad. I am hoping to get into it later this winter.

On a positive. Lebedeff looked good today. This is still a team that has some good wins, but they need to start sweeping these bottom teams/ bubble teams. Edit: 5 minute misconduct at the end was confusing as well. Caufield got punched and it only was 2 minutes, but Emberson goes high on a check and gets a 5.

Still won. I'll be there today with the fam for the afternoon start. Yeah they got the win but they were outplayed pretty much the whole night and are getting badly outplayed again today by the last place team in the league Yea. Frustrating for sure.

A quarter of them have been Caufield too. Even the games they lose they have much more puck control and time of possession. Turnovers hurting them as well as dzone/goaltending. I didnt see the goal with 1 second left, but those can be killers.

I still like Granato. Bringing in talent at least. The boys are definitely in a funk. Goaltending again the difference.

Yes. However, defense zone was a mess during all but 1 of NDs goals. Also, Caufield goes 0-2 on breakaways? Shocking.

It's weird. Some games they look really good and others they look...meh. Although they got whooped last night they had a 37 - 22 advantage with the puck. Crazy they lost 6-1. Also, if they win tonight they will have 3 losses...all to possible tourny teams with 4 wins against possible tourny teams. It's really hard to win against good teams with very average goal tending. Especially the way the Badgers want to activate defensemen. True. Didnt they have some good recruit back out a year or two ago?

Your not wrong. Need a better goalie. Kalynuk had been pretty bad so far this year as well. How can a team be this Dreadful at faceoffs for 4 years straight. It's crazy. I thought Lindmark was this stud faceoff guy and he never seems to be in on big draws.

I saw the final but wasnt able to catch any action. Clarkson is a solid team though, so it shouldn't be too surprising. Everyone was riding high after last weekend though. I'm heading to the game tonight with the wife and young daughter. Curious to see how she does, bit I am expecting to only make it about a period with her.

That's the new 'it' thing to get the defense on the heels and have speed entering the zone. It is annoying when it doesnt work, but I prefer it compared to Eaves dump and chase. It has its use but far too often this weekend they would try it with the defender right behind them and he ended up intercepting the pass. Possibly. I did read some analytics that showed the percentage of a goal scored when entering the zone with control compared to not was like...30%. I'm certain no one wants a BLT to give an odd man rush, but I imagine they practice/discuss those sort of things. Also probably why we see Kalynuk lead most of the rushes.

At the game. Biggest takeaway...this team has sooo much skill. They are going to be really really good. And Caufield is a stud. As advertised.

Case in point tonight. I didnt see it, but 5 goals on 28 shots...no special teams goals. Yikes.

Goals last night for Caufield and Holloway! An exhibition game but still cool to look up the score and see gme notes on this year's team. Unfortunately, when they get into hockey, it gets harder to get to games as Im finding out. Hoping FS Wisconsin picks up more games this year. They both scored during the first exhibition game as well. Caufield with a trick last night. Hard not to be excited about this years group, even if it is only 1 year.
