I agree he isnt locating well, but all 3 of those singles were weak. Also, I wasnt referencing anything about the Brewers hitters. Simply pointing out 3 weak hit balls found holes. Also, the 'linedrive' was weak too. Not going to complain about Bryant not knowing how to run the bases.

Yes. You dont want an in between hop and the ball gets there quicker because you arent putting the loft under it and the ball maintains the speed when it skids off the infield. Obviously a throw on the fly without any air under it would be best, but many cant with that long throw.

Yep - this ump has been bad already and it's been 1 inning.

On the infield single? That's how its taught. You try to throw it so it skids when it's that deep.

The view from in front. You can see the tag on the knee and his foot not yet on the bag. I typically complain that the reviews are garbage, but I actually think theyve been pretty accurate to this point.

Fair, but Tellez did hit 2 balls really hard that were outs. Hes probably not a 3 hitter, sure, but the rest...yea.

Might be a blessing in disguise for them this year. He clearly wasnt the same guy as before he got shut down the first time. He may have to go the Wainwright route and learn to pitch the the margins a bit more.
