  1. So true, I like the Mango Habanero sauce at BWW and one of my buddies always has to order blazin or whatever the other hot one is when we go, and he never finishes it. When he goes without me he always gets the Honey BBQ or something - according to his wife.
  2. I put taco sauce, tapatio, or chalula on mine.
  3. I was bummed to see Dhoogie leave the program, but man has he been bad this year. 3 points in 18 games and a minus 16. Yikes.
  4. Bucky waxes ASU after getting spun last meeting.
  5. If they still did the buffet I think I would get it more often. I'm a sucker for a salad opener. I tried the Domino's cheeseburger pizza...and it did taste like a cheeseburger. Though, I did put my own pickles on it. I really don't like any of the chain pizza places, but the cheeseburger one was pretty good.
  6. Thanks for the heads up. The wife likes them as well bit prefers a thicker crust, so she might be willing to give it a try.
  7. This was a pretty good write up and I agree with a lot of it. Beydoun played really well Saturday I thought and made a lot of the tough saves, but yes, it's pretty clear he isn't elite. The Badgers might be an interesting case study for the tourny. They are 500, but lost one game on a 3v3 ot with 20 seconds left, and lost 3 games when they were short 5 guys due to covid. Splitting the next series with Minnesota could go a long way.
  8. Good win last night against Minnesota. The Goohers dominated most of the 3rd, but Beydoun played well.
  9. Agreed. They had a few fortunate bounces as well. I really thought USA dominated from the 10 minute mark in the 1st period to the 10 minute mark in the 3rd period. Canada was absolutely buzzing the last 10 minutes of the game. If they had played with that intensity the entire game I think they would have won.
  10. USA played really well through the middle of that game, but Canada put on major pressure in the last 10 minutes. Was a fun game to watch and I am a little surprised Canada looked flat through the middle. Perhaps them coasting to the finals hurt them.
  11. USA v Canada for gold tomorrow. Canada wins easily I think.
  12. Spencer Knight was awful for USA today. I dont want to blame him for the loss...but it was bad.
  13. Yep. I agree on all counts. The guy even mentioned that too. He said everyone is happy with the pairwise, but they didn't think it would be fair since many schools are only playing their conference/a limited schedule. Also why the Big10 went to a 3 on 3 overtime this year I think. Otherwise it's possible they would be 5-4-1. Not that that makes a huge difference, but a tie to a strong Michigan team may hold more water than a loss.
  14. They aren't using pairwise this year. They are using a committee, and one of the members said Wisconsin right now is the poster child of what to do. Do they look at how they've played full strength, or do they look at the overall resume.
  15. Next 2 games before break have been postponed...wild how Wisconsin can not get a handle on this.
  16. "Gotta have better effort on defense..” That's been a broken record for going on five years now. Thats fair, but outside of a period plus against Michigan I would say d-zone play has been really strong this year. However, I did not see either game this weekend. TPB, Ahcan, and Baker are experienced players that I'm sure hurt not having this weekend/for the next few weeks.
  17. Missed the game tonight, but see they were missing 4 guys...that bites. Gotta have better effort on defense.
  18. At one point in game 1 it was 44-9. And the Badgers were up like 3-1. PSUs goalies were pretty bad this weekend. My buddy joked that he was going to grab his gear and wait outside their bus - he has 4 years of eligibility left. The Badgers got the bounces this week and found some open ice - but they looked flat on Monday and were lucky to win. Last night I thought they dominated(obviously) outside of a 5 minute stretch in the 3rd where a few guys were coasting up 6-1. And yes, PSU has given the Badgers trouble since like year 2 in the league. So frustrating. I really wish they could have salvaged a tie against Michigan in game 2(Weissbach turning into a pylon after a 2 plus minute shift in 3v3 was frustrating). 4-1-1 looks much nicer than 4-2.
  19. FSN is literally the only reason I still have Charter...and I hate it, but I refuse to not be able to watch the Brewers/Badgers/Bucks because it isn't on one of the streaming services. If they come out with their own service I would definitely move in that direction.
  20. Weird game tonight. Beydoun has been steady...which is something Wisco has missed the last few years.
  21. Also, I know there was no way to tell, but that puck probably crossed the line with a minute left in the 3rd or so.
  22. Frustrating game for sure. I think Michigan is one of the top 4 or 5 teams in the country, so the 3v3 loss is hardly anything to hang the hat on. The lack of chances tonight is concerning. Game 1 had 3 defensive zone breakdowns that led to 3 goals. D zone coverage has looked much better than last year in 3 of the 4 games. That is a really good Michigan team and a really strong goalie in Mann. Also have to remember they were missing Holloway for the weekend and out Pelton Byce tonight. Both guys would have seen the ice in 3v3.
  23. They have been, but tonight is 27 - 31 which is about 50 50 since they have lost 4 extra draws. ND does have one stud drawman.
  24. Yep. Badgers look tired. Caufield caught out of position leads to strong pressure.
  25. Agreed. Sometimes just listening to the sounds of the game is nice. Not to mention a lot of what they are 'adding' is dumb. 'Do you think coaches will choose to take the faceoff on the side they think they can win?' Na, o zone wins arent wanted.
