    how is that not an awesome concept for a movie? that and the acting was very well done, and the musical score was great too. i will always be convinced that the people that didn't appreciate the movie are just mad they were duped. i was one of them at first, but i realized after how brilliant it was That is exactly why I didnt like it. I would guess you are right.

    I am not sure why you feel this way. Perhaps a lot of other teams have done this. Most of the good teams that I have seen and played with always have a girl at first. As long as the girl can catch a throw at her it usually works out well. We have usually thought that our best infielders shouldnt go to 1st(picking balls out of the dirt), but rather short and 2nd. We never expect our 1st basemen to make an amazing scoop, but if she does thats just an added bonus. Im curious why you think this is a bad move? Maybe ill bring it up this summer. The only problem weve ever encountered is the fact that I usually play short, and I have an extreme side arm to underhand throw. Thus, the ball dances alot. But she got used to it right away. It usually moves the same way.

    I have played a few coed tournies. We always play strong up the middle. Girls at the corners. So, C, 1b, 3b, lf, rf. Men up the middle. Youd be surprised, girls usually never hit it to 3rd. Always up the middle, must be the way they are brought up to play.

    I think counsell should have gone in instead of gwynn there...I thought we had him for his clutch abs? That and we cant score with a runner on 3rd with no outs. Neat.

    Me and my friends went to an AandW a few years back. We were starving. One of my friends HATES pickles. He orders a burger with no pickles, he gets his burger, there are 3 pickles, he walks up and goes, I asked for no pickles. They say, ok, he gets a new burger, there are still pickles, but no onions. So he takes it back, tells them again that he ordered no pickles but they took off the onions. So they make him a new burger, and this one was wrapped up, he opens it. Inside they put 21! pickles on it. He looks at us, and goes....wow....I am not even going to take this back...he ate it, we all laughed. I could only imagine what those workers were thinking. Absolute hilarity.

    I always just remember him being "that guy", behind Glavine and Maddux. Not until I really started following baseball did I realize how good this guy really was.

    Its hilarious looking at the balls and strikes on gameday. That one pitch to Hall was in the left handed batters box. Funny.

    You could try the special olympics. I did it one year, it was a great and rewarding experience. I do not volunteer much, but it was definatly worth it. I am sure there are some taking place where your at now.

    I dont think the problem is his fastball, except for the fact that it seems like thats all hes been throwing. In last nites save he seemed to be struggling. Finally he threw a few changeups and the threat was over.

    He did that once last year. Went on to hit a bunch of homers following. At least thats what it seemed like to me.

    While I agree that Bush has not pitched well at all and has been the worst of the 5. I dont think Parras last start was anything to be excited about either. I am not saying that I am not excited about him or anything, because I think he is going to be an excellent pitcher. His last start was just...ehhh

    I think it would have been funnier had he said he did it, but not actually do it. Thus, they make a big deal out of nothing(which they did anyways). Regardless, I think if they try to prosecute the man, thats a bit overboard.

    Yea, we got a few breaks today too. It will go both ways. Also, Utley booted a DP ball, and Lee made a fantastic play in the 9th.
