I cannot stress how annoyed I am by Tampa. The battle of 'Berta is a fun one though! The Canes and Rangers series has also been awesome. Pretty sure everyone is just playing to lose to the Avs, but that's why they play the game!

With a completely healthy lineup it should be Rowdy or Peterson as the DH with the other at first. As others pointed out, for whatever reason, the Brewers don't or haven't wanted to look at Hiura's reverse split. -
MLB review rules are so bad. Crazy.

Lol. I could see it live on TV it was clearly a catch. Somehow the umpire right in front of it thought it hit the ground. Fooled the umpire is the moto of this entire season. These guys are bad.

I agree with you. Thought, to be fair, I think he was hitting about the same or better than many. He was right around 100 ops+ and that was with him facing mainly lefties. However, the sample size was obviously small, but he did wiff in about half of his at bats. Again, small sample both ways. -
I have state darts this weekend and am looking forward to playing. Two weeks ago a lady was out 3 days and came back Friday. Found out Monday she tested positive for Covid. She was back to work Thursday of last week. One of the staff members kids is in my class, and he tells me Friday that his wife just tested positive, but he and son were both in class Friday. Both tested negative on the rapids here at school. Today my aide shows up feeling terrible. Leaves at noon as she tested positive for Covid. If I catch something before this weekend I am going to be grumppppppy.

We are in the middle of a negotiation right now, so they sent us ours and it says they will put the salary on when it's decided by the board. Umm, what?

Problem is - this is what happens. He goes down, rakes, comes up and gets at bats here and there and looks the same. He really should have been DHing against righties to start the year and playing first against lefties if they wanted to know if he had made adjustments. -

He hit it 100 mph. Meanwhile Henry hit one 50 mph for a single. Tellez and Urias have hit one to the wall. Brosseau hooked one foul that he ripped.

Chopper in the IF and was thrown away. Then a line drive one hopper that a good 3rd baseman mans a play on - at least knocks down went to the wall.

Gross - no AC in my room either. Kept lights off all day and went to the library for about 30 minutes to do a math lesson.

My classroom is 84 degrees today. Was 82 on Monday. Fortunately I planned ahead and got all of my testing completed last week. Watching other classrooms that waited until this week to do it...yikes.

The Blues are a tough matchup for the Wild for sure. Would have been nice to see the Blues get the 4 and the Wild get the 3...like it should have been. Fiala has been a disappointment - agreed. The more surprising piece about Fleury is that they didn't even play him much down the stretch. I feel like I saw more Talbot that him.

As a Wild fan...I hate these playoffs. The NHL needs to get rid of this stupid format. 0 reason the Wild and Blues should be matched in round 1. The 2nd best record in the conference plays the 4th best and then...hey, if you win you get the Avs who finished off a sweep and get a nice rest. Cool. Meanwhile the 5 plays the 6 and the winner gets the 3rd best record in the conference.
