    Pizza

They both cook perfectly in my convection oven... Haven't used the regular oven in years to cook a frozen pizza.
  2. Keston Hiura DETFirst Baseman#18 Keston Hiura hit a grand slam to help lead the Tigers to a 9-6 win over the Blue Jays on Friday. Hiura is doing everything he can to make the Tigers’ 40-man this season, but it just might not be enough. He’s hit home runs in two of his past four games with both of those bringing home at least three runners. The 27-year-old is likely to be stashed in the Tigers’ farm system, but he showed some promise last season with the Brewers slashing .226/.316./.449 with 14 home runs and 32 RBI in 266 plate appearances.
  3. All the talk of Black being involved has pretty much ended it appears. Damn, really wanted to see how his bat played at the MLB level, I guess we'll just have to wait.
  4. I just can't see tossing Uribe into closing situations so soon. I do think he is our future closer, but with such little MLB experience, I'd rather try Megill or Payamps first. Selfishly, I have Devin Williams as a keeper in two fantasy leagues, so playing the "who is going to close" game isn't very fun from a fantasy standpoint.
  5. Imo, Megill closes if Williams is out...
  6. Californication Update: I am half way through the final season (Season 7) and am going to be a little sad when it ends.
  7. 2 times, on separate forums. That is how many times I will post it. How many times are you going to post your thumbs down on every Bauer post? We get it, you hate Trevor Bauer.
  8. What exactly was the first opinion?
  9. Imo, he 100% needs to start at AAA until he is comfortable with that new swing. No sense in getting random at bats, maybe 3 or 4 a week, and sit on the bench the rest of the time. At this point, I'd rather Perkins starts out on the opening day roster and go from there. Wiemer needs seasoning, what he was doing last year won't work on the big squad, so he needs to fix his issues in AAA.
  10. So who takes over as closer if he is out for an extended period of time? Uribe? Payamps? Someone else?
  11. I don't think his bat plays at 3B though. We have to have some degree of power in the line-up, and typically, power comes from the corners. (1B and 3B) I can see this in a pinch, but I'm not sure it is a good solution on a regular basis.
  12. This one still hurts. We will regret this one in the near future.
  13. After reading the below blurb, maybe the Dodgers are re-opening the thoughts of getting Adames from us? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dodgers manager Dave Roberts refused Thursday to name Gavin Lux the team’s starting shortstop. It’s notable that Roberts lack of a vote of confidence comes on the heels of several defensive miscues by Lux at shortstop in recent days. He added that performance matters and the club will do what is best for the team. It doesn’t come as a surprise that the 26-year-old will need some time to knock the rust off after missing last year with a torn ACL, but his throwing issues could lead to Los Angeles seeking an alternative at the critical defensive spot, at least temporarily. It’s not like Enrique Hernández is even passable at shortstop at this point in his career, but Miguel Rojas is still a viable defender at the spot, and the tandem could fill the void at least initially. 14. What does Curt Hogg know that we don't know? I highly doubt Wiemer's opening day roster is secure... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joey Wiemer told reporters he’s fine after making an early exit from Thursday’s game against the White Sox. Wiemer checked out fine after being shaken up a bit on a play near the right-field wall defensively during Thursday’s Cactus League affair. The 25-year-old outfielder has gotten off to a frosty start at the dish, but his spot on Milwaukee’s season-opening roster appears to be secure. Source: Curt Hogg
  15. Because some of the big money teams could easily scoop up either guy for a 1-2 year deal, and it's a lot more realistic thinking they would grab them up if what we are hearing is true. It's not like we are making a secret deal under the table for Snell, that no other team is aware of. If he's available for a 1 year deal, you can bet Boras has let everyone know, not just the Brewers. It can happen, but the odds are probably really really really really low.
  16. Trevor Bauer is expected to pitch for a Japanese travel team against Dodgers’ minor-leaguers on Saturday. The 33-year-old is hoping to get noticed by professional scouts and this is one way of doing it. The team he’s playing for is called Asian Breeze, a traveling club from Japan that plays scrimmages against squads of minor-leaguers from MLB clubs. Ironically, he will be going up players within the Dodgers organization. Los Angeles has distanced itself from Bauer since he was released in January of 2023 after serving the longest suspension (194 games) in the history of MLB and MLBPA’s joint domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse policy. This will be closest Bauer has come to a MLB-affiliated competition since his suspension. Source: Bill Shaikin

  18. Thanks for the reminder. :(
  19. Has Chourio been struggling defensively? Why else would he make that comment?
  20. This is great advice now, and throughout the season.
