  1. they never look like the advertisements anyway, so it probably isn't an issue...
  2. I think maybe that is not quite accurate. I'm guessing you have something messed up in your settings.
  3. I knew it would be justified in some way, but the Rays being in the world series twice in that time shoots down any ideas that we are equal to the Rays. I mean, we hang our hat on a world series appearance back in 1982, a time when probably half or more of the poster son this site were not even born. That is once in 40 years! The Rays have done it twice in 12. The fact that the Rays have been there twice in 12 years, regardless of winning it, tells me they are doing something a little better than we are.
  4. I am wondering if Mitchell might be up as early as next season for good?
  5. The Rays have been in the World Series twice in the last 12 years. The Brewers zero.
  6. yes, pfizer.
  7. I hope this version of Garcia isn't a smoke show. Would be really nice to see him step up and actually help the team tis year.
  8. Got my first shot yesterday. Arm never got sore, no other symptoms. Almost like it never happened. I will say this though, the needle going in hurt really really bad. I have no issues with needles, shots never bother me, but this one felt like the needle was an inch around, and 6 inches long. I thought for sure it would hurt for a couple days, but nope. Good to go.
  9. Good luck, the last two times I called to compalin, they basically said "too bad" and that was it. They did not budge on their "new" pricing, and it was either take it or leave it. If it works for you, please share your magic words...
  10. Starting season 4 of Bates Motel. It's a show that always leaves you wanting more, that is for sure.
  11. My school district finally came through, however, it wasn't the district itself, it was the county. My district was at the mercy of the higher ups. My wife had the first shot, just a 1 day headache, 2nd shot, nothing, no symptoms but a sore arm for 24 hours. She got pretty lucky as a lot of people are down for the count for a day or two after the second shot. By any chance did she have it before (even in symptomless form)? I'm curious if there is any correlation to minimal/no interactions to the second shot if the anti-bodies are already there. Nope, not that we are aware of.

  13. I've been trying to stay interested, it's ok, but I can see myself falling off from watching...
  14. Getting my first pfhizer shot this Friday. Pretty happy about that. Hope it doesn't ruin my weekend, but I'll adjust. Last shot April 2nd.
  15. Please explain...
  16. Defense not looking to hot today...
  17. He needs to be, sure looks like he is in fine physical shape to me... Arcia is still slow I see.
  18. No offense to dog owners (or cat owners for that matter) but when we purchased our home in 2002, one of the stipulations with our realator was that we did not want to buy a house that had previously had pets living in it. The houses we were looking at, were all specs, or one owner homes, all built within the last 2 years or less. We have no animals. I don't want to live in a home that had animals for several reasons. Main reason, animals are gross, especially if they weren't/ aren't your animals. The hair, the urine, the crap, the slobber, all of it grosses me out and I want nothing to do with it in my personal living space. Sure, it can all be cleaned, but it is not 100% clean no matter what anyone tries to tell me.
  19. Now we don't like first round playoff exits? We've become spoiled. Well you have anyway. Dude. I was a fan of Skip Lockwood and Gus Gil. So I think I've earned some impatience with the playoff stage being too bright for Hader, Suter, Gallardo...hell, Pete Ladd. I want a ring before I freakin' die, so yeah, playoff chokes don't do much for me. I agree with Geno here. Playoffs are nice, and when it was rare, I may have been able to say getting there was good enough, but not now. We have become a regular playoff participant, time to do more than make it, and get bounced! I too want to win it all before I die, just one time and I swear to God I'll be happy!
  20. I don't think they is correct. The reports said he should be back mid-season. Unless I missed something somewhere. 4 months is what I read.

  22. I don't think Lindblom will ever be worth a damn. I wouldn't mind cutting our losses with this guy, or at the very least, keeping hi out of the rotation. Really hoping Freddy takes his spot outright!
  23. A bunch of my students talk a lot about Riverdale. They think it is really good. I can't get past the fact it is about Archie and his gang but on a super dark level. Is this just a teenager type show? Would guys in their 50's like it?
