  1. Trading Woodruff puts us right back into the "signing garbage starting pitchers" camp again. So sick of that crap as a Brewers fan. We now have 2 legit top of the rotation types, don't trade them, keep them and build.
  2. lol Ok then... Actually, Tampa hasn't played the Packers since 2017, so I can't really brag about winning when the game happens so infrequently these days. Tampa hasn't beaten the Packers since 2009, so this was a great win for a Bucs fan in WI. This is a lot of fun, what it is actually about is a couple bitter fans having a hard time with a loss, so they try and take it out on a Bucs fan who has the nerve to post on a site primarily full of Packer fans... Question me all you want, fact remains that the Bucs just absolutely dominated an undefeated team, which happens to be the Packers. That's it for me, feel free to have the last word, hopefully we meet again in the play-offs!
  3. lol Obsession sets in... dude *sigh* Brady brought me back to the NFL, I had to see what would would happen. Like so many others that gave up on the NFL and came back for whatever reason, Brady was my reason. I know a lot of people who claimed to leave the NFL but came back 3 weeks later, or the next season. I stuck to my word for 3 years, and it took a pretty big deal to bring me back. I used to watch every game that was on tv, no matter who was playing, I now only watch Bucs games. I'm back, but in a limited manner. Carry on, if you want, I can give you some more quotes so you have something to post 2 months from now...
  4. Well...that's kinda the definition. Diehard does mean "as long as everything is lined up perfectly," right? HA! You obviously don't know me and the lengths I have gone to be a Bucs fan... The idea that anyone can question my fandom is funny if you actually know me... I have backed my team through good and bad for 40+ years, and believe me, the bad times far outnumber the good. It has never been easy wearing Bucs gear in WI, but I have always done so, and will continue as long as I walk this earth.
  5. Are you one of those people born and raised In WI, but picked another team? Yup, as a 7th grader, I loved the new team's uniforms. All my friends were Packer or Vikings fans, so I went a different direction and it stuck. My buddy at the time did the same thing and went with the Seahawks...
  6. Correct, die hard since day one, then the political side of things stepped in and I stopped watching. Still followed the team though, just stopped watching all together. Thanks again for keeping track of my fandom, glad I can keep you busy.
  7. Didn't you quit the NFL and announce it several times? That I did... Signing Brady this year brought me back. Thanks for keeping track though.
  8. Total and complete domination! Sorry everyone, been a Bucs fan since 1977 as a 7th grader! Die hard from day one... I know that Tom Brady isn't the Tom Brady he once was, but he is a giant step up for a team that hasn't had a great QB in, well, forever! Add him and Gronk to a team with that defense and the sky is the limit. 38 - 10!
  9. I think the odds of Woodruff and or Burnes being traded is pretty close to 0%. No way we are trading our own home grown starting pitching, when that has been a thorn in our sides for decades.
  10. Hoping for Rays / Dodgers World Series, and the Dodgers having nothing but bullpen issues the entire series, causing them to lose again, and making them want Hader badly in the off season.
  11. I don't think there is any chance that we will have a payroll of 100 million in 2021. I would expect it to be 80 million, give or take 5 million. I think we are in for some lean times, and my gut tells me we are going to start relying heavily on our minor league players to fill holes. Especially in the pitching department since we have no hitters ready yet. So in that regard, we'll keep adding dumpster offensive guys, hoping beyond hope to catch some lightning in a bottle. *sigh* It may be a while before we sniff the playoffs again, which is why I am all in on trading Hader before his value starts declining.
  12. Anything that promotes contact and socialization is insanity. I stand by my opinion on trick or treating.
  13. My wife's side of the family (her siblings) are being 100% reckless. Makes no sense since both have health issues... My sister in law just flew to Atlanta a couple weeks ago to visit a friend. They went to shows, out to eat at restaurants, all the tourists things as if nothing is going on. This week, they are in Branson being tourists, same thing, shows, restaurants, etc... They also want us to meet them in the Dells for a weekend in November. They just don't get it. They will be applying pressure to us to have a Christmas gathering, but it ain't going to happen. My side of the family is being careful, so not having a Christmas celebration will suck, but everyone involved understands. My parents are both in their 70's, and my Mom just got through radiation treatments, so she is totally at risk. Hoping to have a Christmas in July instead, however, even that is not guaranteed at this point.
  14. Trick or treating, another stupid idea in the middle of a Pandemic when numbers continue to rise. We are not participating this year. Of course, I don't have any small kids at home to complicate the issue, so it is pretty easy to turn off the porch light and let the neighbors contribute to the insanity. I just can't bring myself to be part of that.
  15. Ummm, isn't that what this thread is all about?
  16. Maybe Grisham will be available.
  17. I'll never be caught in a restaurant during this pandemic, I even am a bit uneasy about drive-thrus and take out.
  18. I agree with this, however, once the individual fails, society/law/mandate has to step in. I don't expect $10 an hour employees to confront and deal with the selfish idiots, but by placing those signs on the door, those that do act on the greater good should feel like that store is a safe place to visit. I'm assuming there is always a manager on site of every KT, it should be their job to ask the people coming in with no mask to wear a mask, or kindly leave. Had this been done from the beginning, like Menards, the issue would no longer be there. Menards did it right, KT and many other places have done it wrong from day one, and now it is too late to go back. Those that don't wear masks there, will never wear masks there based on previous experience.
  19. I bet the district is a little PO'd about their decision making as a group. Everyone knows weddings are super spreaders... geez
  20. That's pretty awesome!
  21. Well, other stores don't seem to have the same issues as KT. Look at Menards. They have been making masks required for months, and I think I have seen one person ever not following the rule. It's just too bad that the general average every day person doesn't have the sense to try to get along in society, and follow society rules. I blame KT for acting like they give a crap by posting the signs, then not honoring their own signs in any way at all. People can side with them, and say what are they supposed to do, but not one ounce of effort has been made by them to have their customers follow the mandate.
  22. Against my better judgement, I needed to grab something quick, so I stopped at Kwik Trip on my way to work. I have not been back since my last rant against them, and was hoping that since the numbers are freakishly high, maybe people were being better about mask wearing. LOL Silly me. Store was filled with selfish, self-indulgent, unwilling to be inconvenienced people not wearing masks. Even if it means putting others at risk, they just aren't going to follow the mandate. I saw 12 people once I entered, 4 of which had masks on. I swear that the people not wearing them look at those of who do, just daring us to say something. That of course would be useless and would only lead to a confrontation. I have zero faith in the general public being able to control this. None. Shame on Kwik Trip for posting the signs on their doors saying MASK REQUIRED, then doing absolutely nothing when people don't.
  23. You can't base anything in the future on the 2020 season, however, you can't just ignore it either...
  24. Bird Dog? corey knebel's full nickname is bird dog camera tv person. I did not know that...
