I was supposed to be seeing Alice Cooper and Lita Ford tonight... That is all.
-
yup

I find it offensive that all these big time stars think that anyone, any single person, gives a flying crap what they think and say. It is all a giant plea to somehow stay relevant in the minds of the general public. It's disgusting.

I ordered one jersey on Feb. 26th. Still haven't gotten it. Tracking number doesn't work. I filed a claim last week, and the seller said he would send me a new one if I cancelled the dispute. He told me he would be punished if I didn't mark the dispute as resolved. Not sure what he meant by "punished" but it is China after-all. *nervous laugh* I told him I can't mark it resolved until I got the jersey. he said he can't send the new jersey until it is resolved. By the time I saw his last message, I got a notice that the new jersey was already sent. I have no idea where this is right now, but there is no way I am going to mark the dispute as resolved until I have the jersey in hand. Once I get it, I have every intention of leaving it unopened in my garage for at least a week. Can't be too carefull. -
Please split these up in different threads... I beg of you!!!!

I was wondering how long it would take for phony trades to show up on this page. I guess the answer is 6 hours and 51 minutes...

Anyone here watched Boardwalk Empire? I just started it, and am hooked. Love the gangster/mobster subject matter, and taking place in the 20's during prohibition and the depression just makes icing on the cake...….imo

That was shocking to me. People were shoulder to shoulder watching it sail in. Just stupid.

Minor Leaguers getting paid during the hiatus?
TURBO replied to liveforoctober's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Better than nothing I guess. They could also work another job and at least double that pay... -
RIP Joe Diffie..

I don't know how I feel about multiple platforms being posted here though.. I kind of want to just follow one, so maybe this can be split into multiple threads, to keep each one separate? I'd find it easier to follow multiple threads than to have them all in this one thread. Seems that would be a little more user friendly for those of us just reading along...

100% this. They never tell the truth about anything, ANYTHING! Why anyone would believe them now is beyond me.

Seeing this thread on a daily basis is awesome, and it makes me realize how much I miss baseball...

Hate to be negative but this issue has shown me just how many ignorant, selfish, idiots we have in our society. Selfish being the biggest issue. It has been reported all over that teenagers are some of our biggest offenders, congregating in large groups in public, and at each other's homes. Where in the hell are the parents in these situations? Are they just unable to say NO to these kids? It's infuriating to say the least. My parent's have a house close to them that have had big rip-roaring parties this past week. These are not teenagers parties, mostly 20-30 somethings. It's amazing how so many people are rubbing it in the faces of the rest of society, who are doing the right thing. In cases like that, the cops should be allowed to break those parties up. If they refuse, start writing tickets, but of course, this only puts the police officers in more danger, as I am sure there would be those that would refuse to comply. I stand by my earlier description, Ignorant, Selfish Idiots! They are everywhere.

Just finished the regular series. Horrible. What a waste of 30 hours of my life. I'm left with wondering how anyone thinks that is a great series. Horrible.

A friend of mine once tipped a kid at a grocery store (that didn't allow tips) by dropping a $5 on the ground, and telling the kid, "pick it up, or someone else will..." then walked away... The kid picked it up and gave my buddy a thumbs up. Would the store fire him for that? I hope not... I mean, he was forced to either pick it up, or leave it for someone else, like my buddy said...

Yahoo does not offer a slow live draft format for baseball... This is the reply I got back, very informational and friendly, offering suggestions to do it but maybe a little too complicated for EVERYONE in the league to comprehend... I was impressed they got back to me so soon, and with helpful information... Thank you for contacting Yahoo Sports. This is Bigcat from Buffalo, and I understand you want to know if there is an option for live slow drafts in Yahoo Fantasy. Unfortunately, we do not offer this type of draft you are looking for. You would need to do this draft offline, mark down the results and then input them into our system using our offline draft tool. Another option that has been observed, is using an offline draft and marking the league as ready for the season, then allowing teams to add their players that they "draft" as free agents. So each team would use their allotted amount of time, select the player to add through free agency and then the next team would do the same until rosters are filled per league settings. If you have any feedback or suggestions on how we can help improve Yahoo Sports, we'd love to hear from you! Visit our feedback forum to post your thoughts by going to https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/206146-us-fantasy-baseball. If you have any other questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me! Have a good day, and pleasant playing! Thank you for choosing Yahoo Fantasy Sports! Yup, that is exactly what I am seeing too. We normally do 1 minute 30 seconds and the only thing I see is to make it up to 2 minutes. I emailed them, but I don't expect to hear back.

I know there has to be people who play fantasy sports at yahoo here... Quick question, do they offer a slow live draft, you know, when the person picking has a longer period of time to make draft picks? 12 hours, 24 hours, etc... I swear they used to have that option, and I commish a few leagues, but can't find it anywhere. I'm thinking a slow live draft would be perfect for this season since we have no idea when the season will start, and it would keep league members engaged and excited..

So, I finally get around to watching TWIN PEAKS. I have never seen it, not a single episode. I've been told for years how great it is, and that it is a must see series. I am on episode 22. I don't like it, not even a single bit. I find it boring, dated, and at times, just plain stupid. I now have to finish it, because that is just how I roll, but man, I don't understand what all the fuss is about.

Greatest Catch in Team's 50 Year History

Don't forget Domingo Santana's contribution. -
Spending my spring break week getting things done. I've got taxes finished, painted a bathroom, cleaned, organized the pantry, and golfed twice. We have had limited direction in Arizona. The current school closure expires Friday March 27th. We were told by out union president to expect to spend next week as a prep week for potential online or packet-based learning. We are only allowed on campus next Tuesday in case we want to gather belongings. Our job site assignment is now officially: HOME. Turbo, a full eight hours? do you normally have to work eight hours? Our school day is only 6hrs 40 mins. yup, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
