  1. With the news of Mitchell possibly getting close, Collins knows he's playing for his MLB life!
  2. The Life of Chuck Different kind of movie, but I enjoyed it. Not your typical Stephen King type of deal for sure...
  3. Guys I talk Brewers baseball with a lot are now calling him 5 Inning Freddy. Fastball Freddy has been retired.
  4. No mention of how long he is suspended?
  5. LOVE! I'm fine with cutting ties with this Brewers fan poser... I'm also growing tired of having different guys in the booth every night. I need a little consistency, I need guys who are always there, and seeing everything that happens on a daily basis.
  6. The Unholy Trinity Freaking awesome movie! If you like westerns, this is one for you!
  7. I think we need to stop counting on Woodruff for anything at this point. If something happens that he suddenly becomes an option again, cross that bridge when we get to it. For now, he just isn't a trustworthy option for any future plans.
  8. La la la la la la----la la.
  9. meh I wonder if Civale wished he had kept his mouth shut? If this takes away at bats from Ernesto in any way, EVER, this does not make me happy.
  10. Just so I am reading this right, you expect a team's top 10-15 prospect PLUS another A ball player for Civale? Ummmm, I think your expectation of Civale's value is a bit off.
  11. I can see it from both ways, and not being a GM myself, I guess we just have to trust the system in place.
  12. Doesn't help when he publicly requests a trade... We weren't going to get much for him, true, but now we'll get even less since everyone knows he wants out. Personally, I think it's a mistake removing him from the rotation. No reason he can't continue to start, followed by a piggybacker. Not like he is going to go 6 or 7 innings each start.
  13. Shane Smith allowed one run with four strikeouts over six innings in a win over the Astros on Tuesday. Smith had an excellent day on the mound, holding the Astros to one run over six frames. A single, double, and sacrifice fly brought one run in to score for Houston in the third inning. He scattered seven hits while walking two with four strikeouts. The 25-year-old right-hander will take a 2.37 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 64/27K/BB ratio across 68 1/3 innings into a start against the Rangers in Texas on Sunday.
  14. Nope, not trading Patrick at this point. Civale, sure, have at it. I'd keep Quintana for the playoffs unless we get an offer that is ridiculous. We have to keep someone to pitch in the playoffs you are mentioning. We can't just trade away everyone, that goes against the reason we need a SS/3B, for the playoffs, right? Can't win playoff games with no starting pitching.
  15. If Megill leaves, I think Uribe is our closer for the next couple of years, not Yoho.
