  1. Just finished the complete All In The Family series. Holy moly the things that could be done on TV in the 1970's. lol Starting Archie Bunkers Place next...
  2. Seems a bit cruel and vindictive to do this a few months AFTER Rose died. Would it have been such a horrible thing to do it before he passed to give him peace of mind? Shoeless should have been in decades ago, this should have been righted a long time ago.
  3. There is ZERO chance Made plays with the Brewers this year, none, nada, zip, just not the way things work.
  4. If trading Peralta at the deadline means we rake in a better haul for him, I say let's do it. Especially if we are far out of the WC hunt by that time. Odds are, we are going to shop him in the off season anyway.
  5. Would love to see him play a few games in Appleton on this rehab assignment...
  6. It's actually a pretty big deal. This is the first time it was covered on the NEWS page, so I think he gets a pass...
  7. Are you suggesting the possibility of Made playing with the Brewers THIS season? Dude...
  8. Understood, but amongst all those excuses, he still did nothing to address 3B.
  9. Shane Smith was uninvolved in the decision Saturday after shutting out the Marlins for six innings. Smith left with a one-run lead, but it didn’t even survive an inning after things were turned over to the White Sox pen. One of the best stories of the year, Smith, the first pick in December’s Rule 5 draft, is sporting a 2.08 ERA through eight starts, yet he has only one win to show for it.
  10. I know you have many options to choose from, but if anyone will have an extra 2025 SSH William Contreras bobblehead, I'd be more than interested in purchasing from you! I will need it for the collection, and really, have no way to get one... Thanks in advance for considering, and if you won't have one but know someone who will, please let me know...
  11. So is Mayer,, If there was a single chance in hell that we would trade for Mayer (which will never happen) he is a SS, and with Pratt on the way, one of them would have to move to 3B.
  12. Can Mayer play 3B? If not, can Pratt?
  13. If we had other options for the top of the order, I would 100% agree with you, however, who would you replace Yelich with? We have a popless batting order, I mean, it's pretty freaking bad. You are right, Yelich doesn't deserve to be in the top 3 hitters, but what else can we do that would make it better? As we sit now, we are screwed.
  14. The Brewers aren't losing fans, the fans will always be there, but people aren't coming to the park for several reasons. The cost of a MLB game is out of control. like everything else. Why drop $200 on going to a game when you can watch at home for free. If they continue to put bad product on the field, people (especially the casual fan) will get tired of paying to see them. It's that simple. Who do the Brewers have on their roster that people will specifically pay to see? It could and will be Chourio we hope, but this year he hasn't been anything special. He isn't putting butts in the seats alone, so who is?
  15. Fight or Flight I enjoyed the crap out of this movie today! Is it going to win awards? Nope. But it was a great way to spend 2 hours and kicked some butt along the way!
  16. Makes sense, sign a bunch of retread guys who were never that good to begin with, then expect miracles. When that doesn't work, fire the manager. How long before Skenes demands a trade? What frontline starter wants to waste their career toiling in that dumpster fire of a franchise?
  17. Well, we do have a guy in AAA named Logan Henderson that might like another crack at a start... Priester had his chance, NEXT!
  18. The other way to look at it is if we continue to play so poorly, we are going to slide right out of contention. No way we can play like this all year and stick around that .500 mark. I find it unbelievable we are where we are now. If we plan to wait to do something about 3B and SS until the deadline, it's going to be too late, simple as that.
  19. If we get a package like we got for Burnes, I'd rather just keep Freddy and let him pitch out his contract. I have no faith in Hall ever getting right, and though Ortiz showed some signs of being decent last year, this year has been a different story. That trade kind of stinks.
  20. Another good start for Smith last night. yielding two runs in five innings in a loss to the Royals. Too bad only one of his starts has gotten the win, because, you know, the White Sox... Smith (1-2) took the loss Monday against the Royals, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out five. Analysis The Chicago right-hander looked solid again in this 91-pitch outing, as he has not conceded more than three runs in any of his six starts. The Kansas City lineup failed to square up Smith, who allowed just one extra-base hit -- a Bobby Witt RBI double in the fifth. Smith continues his sharp rookie campaign, pitching to a 2.41 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 31:15 K:BB across 37.1 innings. The 25-year-old is currently in line to make his next start against the Marlins at home this weekend.
  21. Buckle up! Payamps on his way out to the mound. *gulp*
  22. That's why I said "at the time." Do you refuse to use punctuation, or what's the story? No commas, no periods, it's like reading the work of a 2nd grader...Geez.
