Yeah, I think the most talented guy on the roster that probably won't be coming back is Moose. We already have a 3B to replace him in Shaw, so I don't think we'll feel it like we did those years. Hell, there is even an outside chance he comes back, unlike Prince and CC...

Machado is a punk, plain and simple. I wish no good fortune on the guy, I want his team to lose 4 straight, demoralizing him and Puig. I hope the two of them continue to embarrass themselves, and their organization.

I think you can add Zack Brown into the mix for a 2018 Burnes type reliever... Regardless of what the new generation of stats, etc say, we need an ace that can eat up some innings every 5th day if only to give the bullpen a breather. I really don't want to see Burnes and Woodruff groomed to start but only pitch 4 to 5 innings each turn, especially if they are on a roll and showing no signs of faltering.

The same Ryan Braun that we are now stuck with? Not sure I want to go that route again, would rather revisit this idea in a couple years rather than make that comittment this early. They aren't stuck with him because of the extension, which was a good decision. They are stuck with him because they foolishly held on to him way too long. mostly due to the money we owe him, which directly relates to his extension... -

You may not remember other teams who lost in the NLCS, but we sure as hell will remember ours! I get the negativity, we are all severely disappointed in the outcome, but compare this season to most of the recent ones, and this IS a very memorable season. It wasn't perfect, not even close, but being a Brewers fan since their inception, it is for sure in the top 3 or 4 seasons ever. I'm not accepting losing, but I am accepting the fact that we played deep into the playoffs, which is far better than not playing in October at all.

Offensively, most of our guys were letdowns in the playoffs generally speaking. It's deflating.

ummmmmm, why? Because he’s s generational pitcher and in a terrible moment (possibly) for the brewers, it’s nice to see him get his moment on the mound. Bah...I'm just going to disagree and be done with it.

What's the difference, both guys had a hard time doing their one job, getting a lefty out. It was a flip of the coin which one to bring, I hope both are gone next year.

Yes, this roster is amazing. Look at the guys who didn’t make the post season roster. There are 6-7 critical pitchers to get us to this point that are watching. As JoeyMeyer pointed out the other day, adding a guy like LeMahieu and perhaps Lowrie can be a big boost for our position players too. This is setting up nicely short and long term. Getting Lemahieu is a real possibility. He has family ties to Wisconsin. His grandmother lives in Oostburg and when Colorado was in town earlier this year he visited some friends of mine who have a 7 year old son who's favorite player is him. He posed for a picture with him. Would he be nearly as good away from playing half his games at Coors Field? That would concern me a lot with the kind of money he will be getting.

I'll be shocked if he goes 4 to be honest. I'm thinking 3 innings planned, then the bullpen takes over.

Why in the hell are so many of our guys doing that swipe down catch on flyballs? At some point, one of them is going to drop it and look like an idiot, I just hope it isn't a game changing flub... There's the WIN!
