  1. Wily getting no respect from the Brewers or T-Rats... Bummer.
  2. I don't really consider any of those guys to be true #1 starting pitchers. Four #2s is a lot closer...
  3. Meh... Where did you see it?
  4. They're supposed to spread them out over the length of the sandwich. If you've seen a pattern of it happening, you should write a complaint email to Subway. I've actually asked them to spread them out, and sometimes they look at me like I'm just being a pain, sometimes they just say "sure" and appease me. My Mom used to manage a Subway, she can't believe that I see this so often, but I do... Again, isn't it just common sense. I don't think I'd have to be trained to know to spread them out. I always wonder if when they make their own sandwich to take with them or whatever, do they pile up all THEIR ingredients in the middle? I bet they don't. I bet they spread them out...
  5. I don't see the fan's choice bobble announced yet... Am I missing something?
  6. Is he a scumbag, more than likely so, but that is from a police report, and is hearsay. I completely believe the majority of what was said there to be true, however, was any of it proven? I hate rooting for guys like this, I hate even more having them on our team, but every team seems to have them, so it is what it is...
  7. Why do the sandwich artists at subway continue to stack the vegetables in the center of the sandwich instead of spreading them out the entire length of the sandwich? It is unbelievable that a task as simple at that can't be completed by 50% of of the people who work there. Is that not common sense?
  8. Some of the events are just plain weird if you ask me... Skiing and shooting in the same event? That is just plain odd. They have things like that, but no baseball in the summer olympics?
  9. This is pretty questionable. I'd have to see more proof that we were in on him than a tweet with no background.
  10. K-Rod was putrid the 2nd half of last season, if we get that K-Rod, things will suck pretty fast around here...
  11. So right. Reynolds should not be put in the field other than 1B unless we are desperate. He's a butcher at 3B. Can you imagine Reynolds at 3B and Francisco at 1B defensively? yikes.
  12. Reynolds as our back-up 3B = bad, VERY bad idea... If it comes down to him getting a lot of playing time there due to another Ramirez injury, we will then have huge holes at 2 typically power run producing positions. (1B AND 3B) Not to mention, 2 complete hacks defensively... Oh man, my head aches just thinking about it! I just can't see us competing for a playoff spot if we have to run Reynolds AND Francisco both out there nearly every day. yuk.
  13. Too bad they jumped the gun on this, would have been nice to get a K-Rod bobble, especially since this is his 3rd go-round with the Brewers...
  14. I don't think we really needed another Yount, and the Aoki would have been ridiculous since we just had one last year...
  15. Any word on Retros for this year?
  16. I filled the spot, however, I commish 3 Fantrax keeper leagues, so I may have another opening in the next couple weeks. If you have never played at fantrax before, it is pretty awesome and FREE!
  17. Anyone have either or both (Bill Hall Retro Pinstripes Pink Bat / Greinke Retro Pinstripes) to trade for any of the following? Carlos Lee Navy Jersey Corey Hart Retro Pinstripes Casey McGehee Retro Pinstripes Jason Kendall Retro Pinstripes Gallardo Retro Pinstripes Aoki Retro Pinstripes Willing to do 1 for 1 or 2 for 2... My Greinke has a crooked head and my Hall has some glue on his sleeve. Always meant to replace them, just haven't done so... Let me know if anyone would be willing to trade via PM. (it doesn't have to be what I listed for trade above, it could be something else from my trade list....these just seemed like obvious matches) My TRADELIST: viewtopic.php?f=68&t=29000
  18. The Timber Rattlers do the cheese spread race...
  19. THAT is awesome!
  20. Man, that guy got the Brewers good! lol I don't think his intention was to "get" the Brewers, I think it was simply to get 2 bobbles, one for himself, and one for me, er, um, a friend.
  21. Same guy got two 20 pack tickets today, separate accounts, side by side... He is getting 2 bobbles...
  22. So if you have 4 tickets in your package, you could separate them into 4 different accounts with 4 different names (say one per family member), and get 4 bobbles? Seems like a very stingy way to give out the bobbles if it isn't one per seat...All it does is cause people to come up with creative ways to get more than one bobblehead. Heard from a friend today that they would not have any extras, they are going to order as many bobbles as they have season ticket holders. Yeah right, then in 2 or 3 years, there will suddenly be cases of them flooding ebay. I don't trust anything any organization says about bobbleheads...
  23. WHEW!!!!! Better them than us... Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports that the Marlins and reliever Carlos Marmol have agreed to a one-year, $1.25 million contract, pending a physical. Marmol, 31, is coming off a 4.41 ERA and 59/40 K/BB ratio over 49 innings last season between the Cubs and Dodgers. He's a decent enough gamble at this price, but his control remains a major issue. Source: Enrique Rojas on Twitter
  24. I have considered that since I don't really need them to trade anymore since my collection is complete... Ebay is the way to go with the more rare ones though. Typical collectors don't care much about the Minor league bobbles, usually only the hardcore guys want to pay any money for them. The common Brewers bring in no cash, so a table for those would be a waste of time and the money it takes to rent the table. I really need to stop picking up extras, but it's a habit...
