Why don't you want to give credence to those people, in the end, they were right. Nothing wrong with admitting the organization made a mistake.
Even though we don't like to admit it, the naysayers are often right, whether we like it or not. They are often wrong too, but that is another story all together.
Simple fact is, a lot of people here didn't like the piecing together of the rotation with unproven, rebound, or injured guys. It was going to take a lot of luck, and I mean A LOT OF LUCK, to get through the season on what we had in place. That luck ran out, and we aren't even a month into the season yet.
We do often hit on a lot of those type players, but to do it in such large quantity all at once was a wish and a hope that hasn't worked out. Win loss record looks great, but is this sustainable? How soon before the bullpen absolutely blows up?
It's going to be an interesting ride this summer, I hope we all survive!
