  3. I think Nick Bennett is going to be a big time asset to this organization.
  4. Bump..., This trade is gonna be the one we all remember for the next 5 years. We are all sleeping on Urias. Top of the line plate discipline, basically a 400 obp guy at every level of the minors at super young ages. We all wonder whether Narvaez or García will replace Moose and Grandal, but we gloss of Urias. He and Hiura will make a combined 6 or 7 all star games over the next 6 years.
  5. Why can’t we sign Donaldson for 4/100, 25 million in 20-23? In 2020, we have around 85 million on the books now, and that brings us to 110 million, still room for a bit more. In 2021, Braun comes off the books, which frees up 16 million, and so does Brett Anderson , and woodruff and Hader would be the only ones likely to get big raises. In 2022, hopefully Urias is due a big raise, but no major required funds In 2023, Cain is off the books and hopefully Yelich is starting his multi year extension. The point being is that we can absorb the 25 million and still have room in each of those years to add significant players.
  6. Any update on when new logo stuff will be available online, and I mean the 130 dollar jerseys, not the 400 dollar variety.
  7. My son said he would only trade Hiura for Mike Trout, Babe Ruth, and Jesus. On paper it sounds good, but I’m concerned on Jesus’ xwOBA and his UZR is -0.7, so I would have to pass
  8. I see it just a way to get Spangenberg on the 40 man before August 31, just to have another option for the playoff roster.

  11. How about this combo Tanner Roark for Taylor Williams and Larry Ernesto Robbie Ray for Corbin Burnes, Tristen Lutz and David Fry Shane Greene for Zack Brown and Joe Gray
  12. I wonder if this is symptomatic of why Segura has been on 5 teams in his young career. McCutcheon has a torn ACL directly due to Segura not running out a pop fly. Is he considered a selfish player or teammate. I’m pretty sure he was in a huge locker room brawl in Seattle last year. For all I know that was the first time all year he didn’t hustle, but I bet it wasn’t.
  13. Well that explains that
  14. Wouldn't it imply a move that reopen a major league roster spot for Petricka? A signing would do the opposite. True, but it would have to be an injury
  15. mcCalvy is speculating the fact that Petricka was sent to Wisconsin might signify another move coming soon. does he mean a signing
  16. My hunch is that he is insurance for a longer term injury to Grandal or pina, especially pina. If he’s out for two months , they likely don’t want Nottingham getting 10 at bats a week riding the bench In Milwaukee and must not want to have to add Gosewich to the 40man roster. Plus he does have this year and next as option years. No real decision on him has to be made until 2021
  17. Burnes woodruff and Peralta have thrown 38 complete innings this year, in 28, they have put a zero up on the board, and 2 1-spots. It seems like a bit of bad luck that the other 8 innings have been so crooked
  18. It just seems like the only 2 or 3 mistakes he has made are hit for major damage. Hopefully just some bad luck at this point, cause he really does dominate 80-90 % of the batters he has faced
  19. While the odds are good we will win this game, a team has to take advantage of large leads like that and have a good cruising victory. Now it is back to being a regular game
  20. Could be just the randomness of baseball at times, but you wonder if maybe Counsell will consider Pina to be Peraltas personal catcher.
  21. LOL Brewers what...... Were you not around the last two years when the team was 40 games over 500 and was within one game of the World Series. Stop acting like we are a joke of some sort, It’s depressing.
