  1. I disagree, I love the powder blues and not just for the Brewers, many teams have brought back powder blue alternates for their current uniforms and they all look amazing, Cardinals, Rangers, Royals, Blue Jays. If the Brewers made an alternate uniform based off of this shirsey it would easily be the best of their current uniforms:
  2. Dunn in the lineup again, batting 5th. I don't understand Murphy's obsession with him. He's a fringe player who had a hot week and wouldn't have even been on the roster had Mitchell not gotten hurt. Ortiz is a top prospect, he should be playing 3B everyday.
  3. Brewers haven't pitched guys on four days rest in years.
  4. Milwaukee leaders were at Mania in Philly to meet with WWE officials to try and get a Royal Rumble at AmFam after the ballpark has been winterized. https://www.cbs58.com/news/over-the-top-rope-milwaukee-seeks-to-bring-royal-rumble-to-american-family-field
  5. As a public service announcement Best Buy offers a three month free trial of Apple TV, this will get you tonight's game and another Brewer game against the Red Sox at the end of May. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/apple-free-apple-tv-for-3-months-new-or-qualified-returning-subscribers-only/6484512.p?skuId=6484512
  6. The international home teams were announced months ago, the Packers were never losing a home game this year. As part of the deal to add the 17th game every team has to host an international game every eight years, so the Packers likely next lose a home game in 2030.
  7. The 2006 team started 5-0, which prompted ESPN to name drop Brewerfan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T41I6uMTe4E
  8. Somewhat related to the Hoskins/McNeil situation, Jomboy did a deep dive into last year's plays and basically found out that the Mets, and McNeil especially, never try to brake up double plays and just give up the outs.
  9. That defeats the purpose though. The reason they're going to this is to avoid bottlenecks going into the stadium because everyone has to stop and pay/scan. If the people that don't prepay are still having to stop the people that prepaid still have to sit and wait.
  10. April 4, 1988 Brewers 12 Orioles 0 This is my earliest memory of watching the Brewers. I was six years old, and it was spring break so I was able to be at home and watch. What a way to be introduced to the Crew.
  11. Attanasio has done this before. Remember Kyle Loshe was a FA hold out and signed with the Brewers out of nowhere a week before Opening Day for about half of what Loshe was originally asking for.
  12. This isn't the first time the Cubs have done it. They went and hired Joe Maddon while having Rick Renteria under contract as manager and had promised him that he'd be back as manager the next season. Scummy organization.
  13. Maybe he can be DH/PH in '24, he's got that power stroke against lefties.
  14. Interesting to note, Sanchez was Snell's personal catcher. Guessing he'll serve as backup C and DH?
  15. Can we please stop feeding the troll? It's a shtick, he's never going to post anything positive. Every thread gets derailed and the ignore button is useless when the garbage that's being spewed is constantly quoted.
  16. Those aren't hassles for someone who streams all of their content, it's just another app on their TV, no different than choosing a channel to watch on cable. As of 2021 less than half of people under 50 have cable or satellite. That's only going to increase, most younger kids have never used linear TV, everything has always been on demand for them. Making the games easier to stream makes them more accessible to the younger demographic that MLB needs to grow.
  17. So you'd rather pay $100/month to watch the Brewers on cable instead of $15-20/month on streaming?
  18. Depends on who wins tomorrow. If Buffalo wins, it's HOU/BAL on Saturday and KC/BUF on Sunday. If Pittsburgh pulls off the upset it's HOU/KC on Saturday and PIT/BAL on Sunday.
  19. I'm guessing the Packers/Niners are the Saturday night game. The other guarantee is Houston also has to play Saturday and I don't see them putting Houston in primetime over GB/SF, though I suppose it's possible as Stroud vs Lamar or Stroud vs Mahomes are both intriguing matchups.
  20. The first replay it looked like the ball hit the ground, but the second angle it didn't. Bad job by CBS to not show another replay after those two quick ones.
  21. Next time just say "I have no earthly idea how baseball economics works." It'll save you time.
