  1. My guess is that Jones isn't 100% and that MLF was using him as a decoy. 5 rushes for 17 yards says he wasn't ready for a full workload.
  2. A couple of weeks ago, former Packer Mike Daniels said that (his teams) needed a guy like Walker. He said he would 10x rather have to tell a guy to calm down than try to light a fire under his butt.
  3. And we drafted the wrong Rodgers instead of the right St. Brown
  4. Anyone can look bad in a Joe Barry defense
  5. In the last five years the Lions have had: Two top-3 picks (Packers - zero) Four top-10 picks (Packers - zero) Seven top-18 picks (Packers - two) Six 2nd round picks (all in the top half of the 2nd round - total of 13 top-46 picks) Eight 3rd round picks Give the Packers those picks and they'd be just as good as the Lions.
  6. Who is playing guard? McCarren just said that Hutchinson's sack was working on John Rhyan.
  7. Dammit, SiriusXM is a couple of minutes behind ESPN Gamecast and NFL.com and no way to pause those.
  8. Last week Walker allowed one pressure in 55 dropbacks. Not sure what his specific pass block PFF rating is, but The Packers' offensive line leads the NFL with a pass-blocking efficiency rating of 93.9. Last week Walker had the second best PFF grade on offense at 73.2, better than Tom. I can't see the exact number, but PFF has Walker at #14 overall among OTs. At this point I don't see the need to give up a bunch of picks to move up in the first round for an OT.
  9. The Sounds used 39 different position players and 45 different pitchers this year.
  10. Yeah, they'll have Devin and Joel pitch once during the Cubs series but not more than once. Likely Saturday.
  11. On a side note, I would not have guessed that the Albany metro area is larger than the Syracuse metro area. Similar drive time from the Syracuse airport, about 1:40. The Syracuse airport is about a 2.5 hour drive from Niagara Falls if you want to combine both in the same trip.
  12. 'zactly. Get ready for a lot of Teheran, Rea, Bukaskas, and Chafin on the mound and Anderson, Monasterio, Perkins, and Taylor in the field.
  13. @Brock Beauchamp Agree w/Cheesehead on adding Shane Smith
  14. @Brock Beauchamp Agreed on adding Myers and Clarke. This system is deep. I think I'd have trouble going to 40.
  15. And Red Robin burgers start at $13, cheeseburger at $14. With no drink.
  16. What do you think is behind the high HR rate? 1.45/9 in 2021, 1.78 in 2022, 1.92 in 2023. Is there a particular pitch or situation that he is struggling with?
  17. Not the worst outcome. Marlins stay within striking distance of the Cubs and, more importantly, all of the Brewers key bullpen pieces get two consecutive days off. Brewers just took 3 of 4 at STL and the Cubs are at ATL. We won't have to wait long.
  18. The OL didn't have a good game, but the one guy on the OL who I don't recall being talked about is Walker, and for an OL to not get talked about is usually a good thing. He missed one run block where he had to come across the line on a pull but I don't know if that was on him or if it was just a poor play design that took too long to block. Will be very interested in what his pass block PFF grade is. The only sack by the Saints the entire game was by Taylor on the CB blitz.
  19. I went for a 30-minute walk at 5:15pm. I had a feeling something was up when I saw a guy in a Mahomes jersey walking down the street before 5:45.
  20. I think you'll get a strong response for a trip report. And I think it would make for a great article here in the offseason when news is low. Count me in for high interest. It's one of the few things I regret not doing in the 1.5 years I lived in the NYC area (even though it's a 4-hour drive from where I lived).
  21. Bakh played every snap in week 1 except for garbage time at the end of the game, and he played every snap the last two weeks of last season after the appendectomy except for garbage time at the end of the blowout over Minnesota. He also played every snap the three weeks prior to the appendectomy last year. There was no evidence that he was unable to play until a few days before the Falcons game.
