  1. I'm glad to see it wasn't a tear. I did catch this little bit from a poster over there: A sprain? Come on...does his tummy hurt too. Welcome to the big league Weeks. In Wisconsin we like tough guys (favre), not sally boys... - RyanhatesWeeks. He's got all sorts of comments that are similar, and just as good.
  2. McClung, and it's not even close imo. Weaver has sucked in AAA, and has been bad in ML for awhile now. No upside whatsoever.
  3. Someone on the site mentioned Errecart and Weeks for Roberts, which makes some sense. He then said Errecart is a better prospect than LaPorta, which doesn't make any sense.
  4. Thanks for debunking the myth rluzinski. I honestly didn't think the baserunning has been a problem this year, even though it is easy to have a selective memory for this type of thing, making it seem much worse.
  5. I'd sure like to know what the count was.
  6. Just curious, does any team actually bat one of their two best hitters 2nd?
  7. I just picked up the Weber Genesis gas grill in the copper color. It's amazing. It's impossible to burn anything on it, and has made me pretty obsessed with grilling in the last few weeks.
  8. This is a bit different though. We're drafting the players as they've developed to this very day, and for the needs of the current big league club we're drafting for. If I was starting an expansion team, I would definitely draft Gordon and Zimmerman over Ellsbury. But since the Rockies have Atkins at 3B, if I can pick 1 of those 3 players at their current skill level, I think Ellsbury fits the best, because the Rockies need a CF and a leadoff hitter.
  9. Alright, I'm gonna go with Jacoby Ellsbury. The Rockies have a really nice middle of the order, but Taveraz/Podsednik are not cutting it at the leadoff spot. Jacoby gives them a good OBP guy for them to drive in, and a good defensive CF to cover a lot of ground in Coors.
  10. Toronto really wanted Lincecum in the offseason, so I think Clay Bucholz makes sense for them.
  11. Branyan wanted the strikeout there. Gotta improve the stats.
  12. It's gotta be Kapler. Why not just go halfway, you're gonna score if it's that deep anyway.
  13. It must be off. The 2-0 pitch was borderline, but still a ball most of the time.
  14. It wouldn't be a bad idea, but I doubt Yost does it. During his postgame interview last night, he said Prince likes hitting left handers better than right handers.
  15. Man, if he was a man and ate meat, Prince could actually have more than warning track power.
  16. Weeks, with that AB, and basically just the last 8 games in general, has put together some of the worst at-bats I've seen in ages. He's become one of the worst fastball hitters on the team as well. Fielder!!!
  17. What a mistake it was to keep Byrnes and trade Quentin.
  18. Corey doesn't really ever get off days so I don't mind giving him half a day off today. Not to mention, he's made two costly mistakes today. And then Kapler makes a great play.
  19. This guy's strike zone has been consistent, but it's ridiculously small.
