Why is Greinke still out there? This doesnt make sense -
That was a well hit ball and good overall at bat. If Weeks plays like this the rest of the series I feel good about our chances
-
Come on Rickie. Show them you feel disrespected by the intentional walk to Prince
-
So was Hairston or Morgan a better Melvin trade?
-
We should send a thank you to the Nationals for both Morgan and Hairston
-
I completely agree. Lots of bloops and weak grounders that beat our shift. He just had a couple ill-timed walks and two hard hits
-
Zack looked great that inning. So here is the next question. Who comes out in the 7th? Saito or Hawkins
-
How else can you account for someone scoring runs on the Cards? We had to have cheated. Remember we cheat at home. Some of their fans truly believe that which is just sad
-
They want to bean Braun and are complaining that we are stealing signs. Funny stuff
-
Well hopefully Hart can get Luc in and Zack can work a scoreless frame so I wont second guess that decision
-
Why not a PH'er here? That run is important out there
-
Glad to see Luc get a hit. He has been phenomenal behind the plate but has struggled with the bat
-
Can we close the roof now that we are ahead?
-
I thought it was our defense that was atrocious. Their corner OF and now that play have been really bad
-
That was an amazing start. Garcia seemed like he had settled down, some guys on here had decided it was over and now all the sudden we are up 1 with nobody out in the bottom of 5!
-
Braun is amazing!
-
That looked almost like the same pitch
-
Please dont bunt here
-
Yep 3-runs is insurmountable. You should probably go do something else the rest of the afternoon
-
Why bother. People got upset when Prince talked about his situation with the team at the end of the season instead of focusing on the task at hand. Don't see how this is any different. Man do I hate the Cardinals, this series may be the death of me. And LaRussa ran his mouth right after that. Are you going to call him out too?
-
That was the second hard hit he has given up
-
3 hits on Greinke = 2 weak grounders and bloop.
-
What will La Russa complain about?

And the roof being open.Probably just there being a roof in general because classy teams dont have roofs on their stadiums -
Furcal? He had a decent .735 OPS as a Cardinal and made a boatload of errors (10 in 34 games). He has been fine but not a game changer. I think people here remember Furcal's games against us but he was not very good against other teams and was really bad in the first round

Brewers have serious interest in Jose Reyes?
jjfanec replied to BillyRed's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
I honestly think Reyes is a better fit for the Brewers than Fielder. His WAR of 6.2 is so much better than Yuni that we could put Gamel at 1B and be a better team next year. We dont have the cheap in house option at SS. What are Prince and Reyes likely to get in FA? In the end I think we get neither and instead lock up Greinke.
