  1. After it looked like they might blow it the Bucks ended the game on 13-0 run. Good to see Redd with a season-high 35 too.
  2. I've read through what all of KenPom's different rankings are based on and all that so I mean I get what he's doing, but I still don't get his rankings a lot of times. Northwestern the 37th best team, Washington ahead of Texas? Last year my brother said he picked his first round based off Pomeroy and he went 28-4 so I know I shouldn't really doubt him, but I still don't see how he figures his rankings some of the time.
  3. Pittsburgh's the new #1 after UNC's loss. I know rankings don't really mean much and in the end don't affect seeding, but it's kind of a joke that Louisville is still ranked when a team like Wisconsin isn't even in the top 30 in terms of votes.
  4. Pretty big wins for Wisconsin and Marquette the last couple days. Wisconsin was very impressive for most of the game vs. Michigan, and the Big 3 for Marquette all played a big part in beating Villanova. I know the Big East schedule will be tough all year, but MU's last 5 conference games are @ Georgetown, vs UConn, @ L'Ville, @ Pitt, and vs. Syracuse, just brutal.
  5. It's not being able to go out with your 21+ year old friends that sucks. I'm not 21 for a few more months and all of my roommates plus a lot of other friends from school are already 21 so it can get boring at time when everyone else goes out to bars.
  6. When I was about 14 I had a good curveball for a 14 year old and probably threw low 60ish, I really have no idea now.
  7. 1a. Seinfeld 1b. Arrested Development (probably funnier than Seinfeld, but Seinfeld has longevity.) 3. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia 4. Freaks and Geeks, even though it's partly drama too. 5. The Office 6. Curb Your Enthusiasm 7. First few seasons of Family Guy 8. Scrubs, even though the last couple seasons aren't too funny. Any of the scripted "reality" shows on MTV during the day. Seriously, I watch that garbage way too much.
  8. When Andy was introduced a couple years ago I never actually though I'd end up feeling sorry for him.
  9. My dad was born in Milwaukee and grew up there so it was pretty much inherited. I was always a pretty big fan but never really a die-hard or anything. I always followed Badger basketball more than any other team, but after the 2007 heartbreak to UNLV I was so mad I decided I'd pay more attention to the Brewers since the season was about to start, to forget about the Badgers. Since then they've been the team I've followed the most out of all Wisconsin sports teams.
  10. I've watched 36 episodes of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia over the past two weeks.
  11. Is North Carolina going to lose a game this year? Good lord.
  12. I think I'd cry if Parental Control was cancelled. That show is through the stratosphere on the "Uninentional Comedy Scale." I've never seen a show more obviously scripted/staged before.
  13. How the hell was Pujols supposed to "elevate his game" in September? He'd practically have to put up Bonds or Babe Ruth numbers to do that.
  14. This is probably a dumb question but oh well. If a mouse were to die between a wall and refrigerator, would it be possible for the smell to get carried through the fridge and freezer? We put poison out around the house last week and within the last couple days our house smells awful in some places, but especially in the fridge and freezer. We searched through all the food but none of it is the source.
  15. The only reason I've watched Scrubs the last two seasons is to see how it will end. I really like the first few seasons a lot but it's certainly time for it to go now. Nearly every sitcom to me is bad, and they always seem to be the same every episode. Two and Half Men for example, the nephew will say something dumb that's funny cause he's 12, Charlie Sheen drinks and is with a lot of women, his brother's a dork. I don't understand how it can go on for so many years. Maybe I'm just ignorant but it gets old pretty quick, yet there are tons of new sitcoms every year.
  16. Well two of the called balls to Myers were absolutely strikes. Is that Sabathia's fault, too? He should have been out of the inning before Rollins even trotted into the batters box. I remember one close one, but they didn't show the K zone or whatever they call it so who knows. Walking a pitcher is inexcusable, whether or not the ump made a bad call on one pitch.
  17. One of the pitches to Rollins was barely a strike, the fourth ball was outside. Blame Sabathia, not the ump.
  18. Brett Myers has better at bats than anyone on the Brewers.
  19. Sabathia has already seen three times as many pitches as Hart.
  20. It's one thing to be in a slump, it's another to be in a slump while you have god-awful plate discipline. He should be sat for the rest of the playoffs.
  21. Fortunately I don't have any interference with classes for this week. Next week I have a couple exams and a presentation so if there are any day games (provided they were to advance of course) Tuesday/Thursday I'll miss the first half or so of them.
  22. Uecker throwing to Attanasio.
  23. Cubs over Dodgers in 5 Phillies over Brewers in 4 Angels over Red Sox in 4 Rays over White Sox in 4 Cubs over Phillies in 6 Angels over Rays in 7 Angels over Cubs in 6
