  1. I don't really see how it would be a cliffhanger, unless it turns out it was something other than her being pregnant. I continue to love Andy. "Can you see things with your eyes?!?"
  2. Hopefully Harden has one of his 5 inning 100 pitch starts due to control problems so they have to pull him early, cause I really can't see the Brewers "rocking" him. Can't wait to hear the loud cheers after the first big Cubs hit...ugh.
  3. BA was in one some of that too. "The Giants weren't supposed to be known for their offense!" It helps when it's A) 1 game, and B) They get to face the likes of Suppan, McClung, Julio. Hopefully the Brewers patience will continue at the plate, and Hart doesn't look lost on 4/5 of his at bat's.
  4. Anyone know why FSN doesn't have a graphic of what bases are occupied?
  5. at SF - 3 (1-2) Chi - 3 (1-2) Cin - 3 (2-1) at NY- 3 (1-2) at Phi - 3 (1-2) at Hou - 3 (2-1) Pit - 3 (2-1) AZ- 1 (1-0) 11-11
  6. I won't pass up an opportunity to make fun of Cubs fans, but have you been to a game at Miller Park the last couple years? That statement could easily be said about Milwaukee as well, though I suppose not to the same extent.
  7. Yeah, I think Arizona still might be the only team to beat three #1 seeds in a tournament so it'd be pretty amazing if MSU does it. With that being said though, I'd be surprised to see Carolina lose.
  8. Jay Cutler is my favorite non-Packer player, and is going to one of the two teams I hate the most. Lame.
  9. 5. People that don't hold a door open for you if you are right behind them or people that don't thank you for holding a door open for them (especially if you have to wait a couple of seconds for them). I've never read anything on here I agree with more. I legitimately believe you can get a slight understanding of someone's personality/overall "niceness" by these two simple acts. It may sound silly or stupid but I've always believed that. The cell phones while in line for something is more annoying on the employee end I think. I used to work at a Cousin's, so people ordering while on their phones wasn't that uncommon. I guess if they're not distracted from ordering it's not a big deal, but sometimes people would get annoyed if you'd "interrupt" them, like it was some big deal to talk to them while they're ordering.
  10. I'm not so sure he can't win one at Memphis. If their 08 team wasn't awful at free throws, they win the championship. I agree that a few years down the road he'd have a better chance of winning one at Kentucky, but winning one at Memphis wouldn't be that surprising either.
  11. With Meeks and Patterson coming back, they're certainly a tournament level team next year. With Calipari's success in recruiting, I'd be surprised if Kentucky really missed a beat in 2010-2011 and on. With that being said, if I was him I sure wouldn't want to go there. They gave Gillispe only two years, even though he probably could've easily taken them to the tournament next year and probably win a a game or two.
  12. That does seem pretty surprising. I guess maybe there goes my hope of him eventually ending up at Wisconsin, but who knows.
  13. I hate Izzo as much as the next Wisconsin fan, but 5 Final Fours in 11 years is pretty awesome.
  14. They're also making it seem like they're setting up for Stanley to wish Michael was back by Charles giving him more responsibilities.
  15. I swear I'm the only guy that doesn't have a thing for her. Something about her face is off to me and her voice kind of annoys me. Anyway, I also like Aziz Ansari a lot. He was also in a couple episodes of Scrubs this year and was pretty funny so I'm looking forward to him on the show.
  16. Slightly off topic, but what's up with the women's tournament being played on the team's home court? Better yet, why did 9th seeded Michigan State get a home game against top seeded Duke? Are they trying to make it more interesting by increasing the likelihood of upsets or something.
  17. They knew they'd play there before the season started if they played well. The rules say if a team plays 4 or more games at one arena, they can't play there in the tournament. Villanova scheduled 3 games at whatever the site was (can't think of the name) for the regular season.
  18. I went back and watched it too and I personally think he said "quit", but I wouldn't be surprised if they went in the direction you guys are talking about.
  19. Wisconsin really has to have at least one long scoring drought every single game.
  20. Wow that's crazy! Even if he is limited (which I'm sure he will be in both play and minutes) that's got to help their offense. McNeal and Matthews have shot just awfully since James went out, so hopefully he can create some shots for those guys. If he can play even 20 minutes or so it should be a help.
  21. Coming into the tournament it seemed as if both Wisconsin and Marquette lost every single close game they were in, it's nice to have two back in one day. For all the stuff Hughes sometimes does that makes me frustrated, he'll pull out shots like that every once in a while to make you love him.
  22. There's the first blow up in my bracket, I had WVU in the Elite 8 in two of mine, bah.
  23. If Marquette could hit some of these shots they could easily be up 15+. Great defense though. Seth Davis: "Utah State stronger inside, Marquette stronger on the perimeter and that's why they're winning." Marquette has more offensive rebounds, total rebounds, and blocks. Can't you just look at the box score?
  24. From the sounds of the crowd, Marquette doesn't have anything close to a neutral court game.
