  1. Sources tell me the Pirates just lost. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ryXQLfWQVCs/Uxn14_6A9xI/AAAAAAAASpM/6YDiwnhi7lA/s1600/1975topps_GormanThomas.png http://mlblogsrattlerradio.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/hank-aaron-si1.jpg

  3. I'm not adept with looking for/adding photos to threads from a phone, so I figured last night that surely SOMEONE would have posted one of these by now... http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51tn2i1R5gL._SY300_.jpg Ideally with the word "breakkaball."
  4. You guys, I don't want to be a jinxer, but the general fan response during the 7th inning last night was as intense as I've experienced at Miller Park since October 2011. That inning was intense, but cool in the end. And I was ready to give the game MVP to Justin Turner as well.

  6. Welp, if the Brewers were facing a pitcher brand new to them, at least some of us would be expecting the worst. (Not saying that doesn't include myself.) So why can't it bode ill for the Giants? she asked hopefully.

  8. So a bobble with a mixed-logo design has extra potential value? We have a Fielder bobble (from whatever year his bobble was topped with a crown) with a pinstripe uniform that has modern-style letters/numbers on the back. I'm not particularly in the market for selling it. I always thought it was weird, but we didn't have any other bobble of that sort to compare it to.
  9. http://38.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lqpw4sHYUc1qz5f20o1_500.jpg This photo is cool because it was taken by thablingster. Brian's House!
  10. Kameron Loe also broke his right hand in the brawl.
  11. I wonder how stunned A's fans are this morning.
  12. Yeah, I'm going with the Brewers Magic Number Twitter account (@BrewersMagicNum), which never posted for 55 but is posting 54 this afternoon. So to catch up... Before Wednesday's game: http://vafloc02.s3.amazonaws.com/isyn/images/f468/img-190468-m.jpg After Wednesday's game: http://media1.onsugar.com/files/2010/09/39/3/498/4981324/2b06ab8b471ffb43_Untitled-1/i/Flashback-Stars-Studio-54-1970s-Big-Trend-SpringSummer-2011.jpg
  13. I don't want to be no fun, but I think the Brewers are at 56 - the uniform number of ceremonial first pitch catcher extraordinaire Joe Crawford. http://www1.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Joe+Crawford+Houston+Astros+v+Milwaukee+Brewers+96qV355-vTkl.jpg
  14. While we await prime graphics and confirmation of the Rays' lineup, let's pause and take some solace in knowing this is the LAST GAME OF JULY 2014 for Milwaukee.

  16. If that were to happen, George would need a new uniform number, again, since I don't see either Aramis or Jean making a change. Would that make him the first Brewer player to ever wear three different uniform numbers with the team?
  17. One bright spot from Sunday's loss to the Mets was finally getting to meet JimH5. Did you know he doesn't really look that much like Commissioner Landis?
  18. Yeah, Kottaras was released.
  19. Are we still on 57, or is it too late for me to post a photo of the only #57 for me? http://www.elitebaseballteams.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/7099713.jpg

  23. Ahhh, I saw that! I didn't realize it was you, but I did take a photo of it. Let me know if you would like me to send it to you.
  24. Wasn't that awesome? I knew I'd have to put up with the "All-Jeter" focus to see our Brewers play, and for once it was worth it! The only thing that could have made me more proud of the Brewers' showing last night would be some offense for Carlos. By and large, this was one of the best overall showings by Brewers in an all-star game that I can remember...which of course hardly anyone outside our fanbase will remember. [bit of an aside: I recognize that Derek is a stand-up guy who has handled his super-high-profile MLB position well - but I question whether any one player in this team sport, including Brewers players, warrants the degree of worship that he has received. Stepping off soapbox now.] As for Adam Wainwright, his post-appearance comments were pretty much the human equivalent of a cat rolling off the bed or something, then quickly flipping upright and grooming himself, as if to say, "Yeah, I meant to do that." OK, Adam.
  25. Were I a Cavaliers fan, I don't think I could welcome LeBron back. I was trying to think of a Brewers equivalent. Molitor? Prince? Maybe a MKE equivalent would be if the Braves had tried to come back in the late 60s.
