  1. I have been playing it constantly since picking it up. I think most big-time VH fans feel Tattoo is one of the weaker tunes, but it is radio friendly and may appeal more to the casual fan.
  2. Gotta remember the crowd around here is kinda hipster...I am stoked that Maiden was booked. If Maiden played a side stage, it would be packed beyond the Priest show a few years back.
  3. Had no idea the chalet was that valuable. Thanks for the info.
  4. Just found a bunch of random Brewers items going through storage totes, what are these items worth? -Chalet bank -Uecker bobblehead in box, unwrapped (still has styrofoam box inserts and wrapped in plastic). It's the standard bobblehead box with a Pepsi logo and the others in the series were Yount and Jenkins. -Have a snow globe in the box, but something happened where the water is dirty. Anyone else have this issue? I'm going to keep digging and see what else I've got. Depending on value I may want to sell some of this stuff.
  5. Not that it matters, but I've played fantasy hockey almost every year for the past 10 years.
  6. I am far more excited about hockey starting than I am about the NFL. Thanks for the invite, RyDogg, I am already in.
  7. If you're looking at doing an online draft, I would be happy to join should you need extras.
  8. 94.5 FM As if I don't hate the Packers enough, they bump the Brewers, but the radio situation has been discussed around here already.
  9. If Johnny Cueto had more starts, he would be in the discussion, no? His numbers to date: 19 GS, 128 IP, 9-5 1.89 ERA.
  10. Funny, I never look at woot until someone posts about a woot off, so I just went over there and the item up was the desired bag of crap. I clicked on it and could've had one but decided I don't need any more crap in my house.
  11. Loved the reaction of the bullpen as they watched on TV.
  12. MLB Network quoted Manager Mike Quade as saying he has no idea where Zambrano is and that he let 24 guys down. This will turn out well...
  13. In the whole underground parking area, 2 people park there? Or do you mean they are the only team personnel that park there while others are stadium employees? Can you elaborate on this? Otherwise, it sure seems like a total waste of underground parking. (maybe it's not that big?)There really is no underground parking. As we exited the Brewers offices and entered the "behind the scenes" area, there was a vehicle parked there. We were told the rest of the players park outside in a private area and that Ueck is the only one who parks inside the stadium...and Sveum that night.
  14. Props to the "classy" Cardinal fan in the Lou Brock jersey, front row of 218, who kept standing up and double middle-fingering whatever it was he was mad about at the time.
  15. I commented on that a few times as well. It was like a sauna, indeed. The only saving grace was that there were blasts of cold air coming from (above?) the press box area every couple of minutes and my seats were directly below the WTMJ booth. And, as I mentioned above, the rain helped cool me for a few minutes.
  16. Got to go on a behind the scenes tour of Miller Park prior to Tuesday night's game. Learned that Uecker is the only person who parks inside the stadium (along w/Sveum's chopper), saw the supply room (bobblehead collector's dream), got to see the underground batting cages and see the Cardinals pitching staff (Lohse, Carpenter and 2 others) come in to hit and then stand behind the cage on the field for Cardinals batting practice. I was within arms length of Pujols and LaRussa...tough to stay classy.
  17. Yes, it was. Lucky for me, I was sitting in the loge section behind home plate where the roof was leaking and got soaked. That felt great for about 10 minutes and then it was back to sweating.
  18. I love seeing shows at The Rave and it has been a few years so it may have changed, but I don't recall there ever being floor seats, it's just a wide open room. The balcony/VIP thing sounds alright--isn't there some sort of unlimited food/drink package as well, or is that what this is?
  19. I would expect a Game 7 based on the first 5 games. Again, I hate that a diver like Lapierre got the only goal. I hate the Sedins, but if they get a GW goal, it's fine by me...
  20. That Virgin plan is great. I hate cell phones and everything involved with them...they run on the Sprint network if that makes a difference. I have the $25 plan with 300 minutes (150 minutes more than I need) which comes with the unlimited media/text, which I rarely use, maybe 15 texts per month. People paying up to $100+/month astounds me.....
  21. I know, it sucks to watch them on the PP. Can they decline the penalty?
  22. What an entertaining Game 5...too bad an embellisher/diver like Lapierre had to score the only goal. Boston had plenty of PPs, didn't cash in. Hope they bury Luongo at home in game 6 and force a winner take all game 7.
  23. Rangers (former Wild) enforcer Derek Boogard, aka "The Boogieman" passed away on Friday at age 28. He missed 52 games due to a concussion this season...have to wonder if that had anything to do with his passing.
  24. I like your order except for the position of Vancouver, I'd drop them to the bottom, only above Detroit...and I'd flip-flop 6-7. Unfortunately, I also agree with stout in regards to Rinne winning the Vezina. Not that it's fair, it's just how it will likely shake out. I've drafted Rinne three years in a row in fantasy, and it's always late. My hockey-loving friends would still rather grab "the name" over "the talent".
  25. Gonna try and do this without swearing.... 'Hawks are my boys...thank you Crawford for your performance. Go Preds, beat Luongo! He can be beat, especially by a goalie like Rinne. I am disappointed by the Blackhawks, but there is always next year, and forever last year! Lastly, NHL playoffs destroy the NBA.
