  1. Oh, if only the Badgers had a passable QB...
  2. Who cares about watching the Badgers....go Brewers!!!!
  3. My buddy just called and said he was in the lot by 2PM and there were a lot of cars in before him. He also said the lines to get into the stadium are huge right now backing up past the statues at the home plate entrance.
  4. 999.... It came in an email. I just got through to buy loge seats and when it went to the page where I enter the numeric code (you know, the squiggly numbers/letters), I couldn't see any of the numbers/letters so I got locked out from buying the tickets.
  5. I'm not gonna try and figure out blackout rules, but it's still ESPN on both systems in the same city, so who knows?
  6. No, DirecTV.
  7. I'm in Madison and I've got the Cubs/Mets on ESPN.
  8. Atlanta with a hot start vs. Philly (2-0 in 1st), hope that doesn't inspire the Mets.
  9. Not that I needed any more reasons to dislike Vedder/Pearl Jam, but now he's given me another. Please, someone (I'm looking at you Mets, Phillies, Dodgers) end their season.
  10. Once again, thanks Brewers. I've got an all-day bash tomorrow, so its a guarantee.
  11. Hawing, that was really pissing me off this morning. It seems that when the Brewers have good highlights, they never play them, but then this morning...all Pat Hughes and Santo screaming like a girl at a boy band concert. You know what else? At least once a week they replay the sports report from the previous morning. They did it this week the day after Sally Sheets left the game in the 2nd. The following day, the report (Posick) indicated Sheets would be pitching that night in game 2. I know they likely tape the every 15 minutes updates, but is it a lot to ask thay they are at least current?
  12. Wow, thought this was a rip on the AAA team.
  13. So, are they planning on selling the tickets despite our performance? I know I've got some framed playoff tickets that never served any use other than conversation piece in the basement.
  14. Nope, tomorrow's a college football Saturday. I feel bad taking this stance, but it has to be done. I'm not real happy right now. Edit- Hey, I got my posts back! That ".u" sure makes a difference when logging in!
  15. I've never been "that guy", but tonight it ended for me. I loyally listened in for the 1st inning and got kicked in the ____. I turned it off and will not look back...call me what you want, but I've been loyal forever. I've never quit, until tonight. This goes beyond loyalty, it just hurts more than it ever has and I need to take some deep breaths and get away. I've had enough. I can't take the abuse anymore. I love the Brewers, but enough is enough, you know? Edit-And now, I see I've dropped some 4000 posts. All this time and now the board drops me as well!
  16. Looks like Zambrano didn't have his no-hit stuff today against St. Louis. He left in the 2nd after giving up 8 earned runs. Cards up 12-2 in the 7th...think their pen can hold it? Also, Soto was scratched with a sore hand. Didn't look too sore yesterday hitting that HR. Grrrrr...
  17. Mets start with a double and triple, up 1-0 in 1st and then pull their best Brewers imitation and make 3 outs without getting the runner in from 3rd.
  18. It's a good thing we're all not neighbors because we'd have one heck of a wasted neighborhood tonight.
  19. Buckhunts, it's not as much about the Cubs fans to me (as much as I hate them, I know I can out-party them), it's how much it may cost to get a ticket as a non-season ticket holder. I know I could buy a 9-er, but I'd end up eating a lot of them, but I may have to look into it.
  20. Yep, that could well be the first Opening Day I miss in 20 years. Remember how much people were getting on eBay last year for Opening Day? Imagine how much more they'll go for because of the Cubs.
  21. Luckily, I had decided to chill out and lay in bed listening to the game last night. However, as soon as I heard Blanco's name I just KNEW he was going to get a hit, so I was prepared. Sure enough, base hit. All I could do was laugh a tortured laugh and realize it is not meant to be this year.
  22. The usual, sports and Seinfeld reruns. Nothing else.
  23. So much for this big homestand helping us in the race.
  24. Brewers. I'm not a Packer fan.
  25. Yep. Drunk. But not drunk enough to go to that SoCo music thing at the Alliant Center in Madison. Gonna take much, much more for me. Drove by around 6PM and heard what they had to offer and that's what prompted me to start drinking in the first place.
