  1. I'd be interested in the hordes of women who will likely be flocking to see Depp and Bale.
  2. No, a poster on the major league forum said the ticket office is no longer pre-selling passes.
  3. I've been on a real burger kick lately. I don't really do anything that hasn't been said, but when I make mine, I use Lawry's and black pepper to season the meat. When it's done, I top it with monterey jack cheese. As the cheese melts, I top it with jalapeno peppers. That's my monterey pepper burger.
  4. Looking for one parking pass. Send me a message and an idea of what you're looking for. Thanks
  5. So, no more pre-sale...does that mean they're all gone or they're just not selling them in advance anymore? Anyone want to sell an extra parking pass, please send me a message.
  6. OK, so kicking it back to the actual parking situation.... I am going to Opening Day, but did not obtain my tickets through the Brewers. Is there a way for me to purchase parking in advance? I have seen parking passes on eBay and such and may just go the route, but is there any other way? Thanks.
  7. Yeah, I've seen that too with concert tickets. I really don't like the idea (I just like an actual ticket, you know?), but it's much more convenient for the buyer to just print them off and have them 'in hand' right away.
  8. I'm not really sure if you can find anything that authentic for minor league jerseys, but the description here sure sounds close. Unfortunately, you probably won't be able to get it customized. I really wish I could get my hands on another of the old Admiral jerseys: http://www.hockeyjimm.com/jerseys/IHL/images/77_Admirals_f.jpg I used to have one that was given to me by Phil Whitliff, but it got lost somewhere through the years.
  9. Check this out for bus info. Miller Park info will be updated in the spring. http://www.ridemcts.com/seasonal_services/index.asp?id=802
  10. Damn, didn't realize what a phenomenon I'd be starting with that incorrect choice of wording.
  11. Is it the BF.net Director of Public Relations? I'm just glad this person is only showing their Speedo goggles. No suit, please.
  12. Thought I'd be the cool Dad who let her daughter check out the eclipse so she could talk about it in kindergarten in the morning...the response I got? "Dad, can I go to bed now?" Man, I had no interest but thought I'd let her see. What a letdown.
  13. Does sound funny, doesn't it? Like I'm some sort of special society.
  14. I love meat. Had steak for dinner tonight...yummy. You want to be a vegetarian, fine. I just don't want to hear about why I shouldn't eat meat. I'm not looking at anyone in particular, but the over-the-top PETA types anger me. If I want to change, I have internet and can look it up. Whatever, go Prince.
  15. How about a tattoo of hockey player Jordin Tootoo sporting a tattoo of Tatu from Fantasy Island? Sounds like a Kramer plot from Seinfeld....
  16. And to answer your question, no. I'm not growing "that" stuff. I don't want to go to prison. Yeah, it's a little early to be growing Cuban cigar tobacco....Castro just stepped down.
  17. Get the ball and glove logo! If I were to ever get one, it would likely be my daughter's name or initials.
  18. I always wanted to do some sort of garden like that because I wanted to grow peppers (yellow, red and orange preferably). They cost so much at the store that I'm always reluctant to buy them. Sounds like a nice setup, Jamie.
  19. My favorite TV character, George Costanza.
  20. Al, you must be a blast to party with. I get what you're saying but it's Opening Day, people are drinking. It's gonna happen, period. It's fine if they want to ignore it, but it just looks stupid seeing all these people climbing a hill to piss behind a tree when some port-a-johns could be brought in.
  21. I wonder how many people bought the maximum allowed? I also seem to think the amount they received was slashed from last year. The whole thing had a air of secrecy about it until they finally announced the sale time last night.
  22. The thing about the tickets is they are marquee game tickets which means they have a face value of $20. That still means I have to pay $60 for beer and brats. I just decided to fill up the cooler and tailgate the old fashioned way again this year.
  23. Leff's is already sold out.
  24. Wow, almost 80 bucks for the Leff's package. I can drink a lot of beer, but that's getting up there. I want to say it was about 60 last year. The seats are terrace reserved. They have to be fairly strict in carding, as they have this disclaimer posted twice on the website: "The Leukemia Society Opening Day Tailgate Party is a 21 and older event. Please bring photo ID with you to the party."
