  1. I've already congratulated the two Cubs fans I know on their winning the division.
  2. I am not familiar with the National. I thought he was referring to the now-defunct daily sports newspaper from around 1990. Congrats on the magazine cover, that's some good publicity and should only help the future of your band.
  3. Wasn't there already a "Talk Like a Pirate Day" this year or is time flying by that fast? I guess I'm not going to argue with the "one and only, official, accept-no-substitutes Talk Like A Pirate Day Web site."
  4. Unfortunately, if we had daily fan fests, they would cease to be special. Oh, I think they'd be darn special if every one of those wins got us into the playoffs.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif
  5. The Brewers are 5-0 lifetime in fan fest games. Wrong. They're 6-0.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif I propose daily fan fests!
  6. I could go on and on, but my favorite beer that you can get anywhere in the US is Pilsner Urquel. C'mon man, you've got the Schlitz avatar, that should be your favorite.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif
  7. Good to see the love of the High Life around here when it comes to macros.
  8. I've always wanted to play in that league.
  9. I've been a free agent for quite some time. I plan on staying that way unless my agent lands me a blockbuster deal.
  10. I now have a bottle collection of over 140 different types of beer I've tried. For many years, I collected full bottles for my Grandpa's collection in his basement. I have many friends who work in liquor (retail and sales) who would give me single bottles for free or for a minimal cost (25 cents) because they knew I was doing it to build up a collection, not to drink it. The collection is at well over 1000 full bottles and cans, some highly collectible. Unfortunately, my Grandpa passed away a few years back and I inherited the collection. One of these days, I need to go and box it all up and figure out what to do with it.
  11. Sorry fellas, I've got no beer revelations for you, but will contribute my preferences. Plain and simple, I'm a High Life man and have been for 15 years. Occasionally I throw myself a change up and pick up some Molson--a by-product of Wednesday nights of 6-for-$6 Molsons at State Street Brats back in the day. I will drink any cheapies you put in front of me as well. No micros for me and absolutely no Bud.
  12. Baby steps, Casey. Baby steps.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif
  13. I think I got it now. It's just weird to put the link in both boxes--at least that's what I think I did. Thanks again, Casey!
  14. *Test post* Brewers lost in Pittsburgh today, here's the JSOnline story: http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=661397
  15. I think I've asked about this before, but couldn't find it. Here's what I'm doing: -Clicking on icon that says "insert hyperlink" -Pasting the url -adding the title of the link -clicking "OK" Nothing happens. No link appears and the box disappears after clicking "OK". I'm sure it's really easy and I'm just missing something very simple, what?
  16. Birds. No, it's not because of the Hitchcock movie and no, I haven't seen it.
  17. That little gnat in CF reminds me of Juan Pierre. Yuck.
  18. It's funny that they call it "The Real World". I've got my cameramen trained well so that they don't get in the way while I make my way around the city and through my luxuriously furnished free crib. Hang on, I've got to re-type that. My producers don't like that my phone interrupted my typing of this post, so I'm gonna do it again. It looks cleaner on the edit that way. You guys who like MTV and it's programming have to be fairly young, right?
  19. I agree, except for that part about the Packers.
  20. 2-0! I'll admit, I flipped to NFL during commercials, but I watched more Brewers than anything else today. So, I'm off for a week....are expectations high for me and the TV?http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gif
  21. So the move must have went pretty easily? Oh yeah, we went with the UHaul. We backed it right up to my front porch and thankfully, the TV has wheels, so we rolled it right down the ramp onto the porch. We only had to lift it about a foot to get over the step into the front door. Baseball never looked better in my living room. The Brewers are 1-0 on my new TV!http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gif
  22. My friends, the TV has arrived and I haven't moved out of my chair all day.
  23. So the Brewers have already pissed me off....I'm now watching college football waiting for the Badgers to start. I'm on vacation and I've got a full fridge.
  24. My Subway: Footlong turkey on wheat, no cheese Lettuce Cucumbers Onions Green Peppers A few pickles Lots of hot peppers Light mayo I do enjoy Cousins as well though, but I get a hot sandwich (Philly) there.
  25. Damn, Gyp, you've gotten around. I've had two jobs. Menotti--dropped you a message about Westmoor.
