  1. Ohhh...that Nevermind. Yeah, I've tried to forget about that.
  2. Wow, I got Google won't save you #77 in 8 minutes last week, but 2 minutes? Now, I must ask....the Nevermind baby? What is that?
  3. Well, as long as this thread is considered to be a new low, I need to be a part of it... I saw one online that I'd never heard before: Make a Minnesota hand warmer.
  4. Very nice. Looks like the real deal to me.
  5. What jersey are you looking at, BHF? Here is my favorite one that I own: http://www.iwn.fi/~dana/images/thb/thb_Bure.JPG I'd really like to get an authentic Stu Grimson jersey though. Seriously.
  6. When I came home tonight, a guy on the corner was revving his engine real bad trying to get off the ice. I came inside and said he's gonna blow up his car...sure enough, the red fire engine lights are at the end of my block putting out the car fire.
  7. What about the letters/numbers? Are they ironed or stitched on? I have quite a few authentics, love the fight strap!
  8. i miss rain delays...seriously. As long as the delay started before beer sales ended.... It was great when they'd broadcast an out of town game on the scoreboard. You couldn't tell what was going on, but it was still fun. Also, I have a friend who always carried a backpack with him--the contents of that bag never bored us. We had a few cribbage games during rain delays.
  9. Either that or it's just so cool to like an obscure band.....I don't know. Really. Who is Steve Malkmus? Seriously.
  10. I miss $5 general admission seats down both lines.
  11. Fever dreams are the only ones I remember having. If I'm not sick, I don't know if I've even had a dream....no recollection at all.
  12. I know what you mean by fever dreams. It's been a while since I've had them, but they are weird. Seems they were always followed by waking up and having no idea what day or time it is and then falling right back into the bizarro world of fever dreams.
  13. Aren't you hipsters supposed to shun corporate sellouts?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif I'm not sure I've actually heard an Outback commercial...I thought they just had Paul Hogan (or whatever) doing voice overs. G'Day, Mate!
  14. I don't know of Montreal. I mean, I know of Montreal, it's in Canada. If the gurus at Clear Channel thought of Montreal (yah, I am hipster enough to know the "o" in "of" is lowercase) would give their station better ratings and ad revenues, they would play of Montreal. But if they received mainstream radio play, you hipsters wouldn't be able to like it and you'd all become Nickelback fans because they weren't on the radio anymore!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  15. Not to laugh at your torment, but the description of regurgitated Honey Nut Cheerios made me laugh. Not sure about the specks....
  16. Nickelback is way too mainstream for the majority of this board, plain and simple. There are many bands over-pimped here that I'll never get, but that's the beauty of music--one man's crappy band is another's favorite. Who am I to judge, I like Twisted Sister! I'm not a huge fan of Nickelback, but I get it...they've go a formula that works, so why change it? If you're a fan, make no apologies and seek no justification...just enjoy what you like.
  17. Brett, I do like the High Noon, but the bands that come in just really aren't my thing. It's great that Cathy Dethmers has been able to establish her venue (once again) as the place to play in Madison. The theaters are fine, but the High Noon just has a certain feel that I like.
  18. From milwaukeebrewers.com: Fans can also register through an online lottery at brewers.com for the opportunity to purchase up to four tickets to Opening Day. The lottery concludes on Thursday, Feb. 14 at noon. There will also be a limited number of Opening Day tickets (including Standing Room Only) available at the Brewers Arctic Tailgate at Miller Park on Saturday, Feb. 23 when individual game tickets go on sale. Each fan will be limited to a maximum of four tickets for Opening Day.
  19. I bought my Camry from Saturn in Madison and they had a no haggle price policy and the salesman pointed that out to me right away. I believe the no haggle policy goes across the board for the Zimbrick dealerships.
  20. Many car websites now list most of their inventory online and allow you to either schedule a test drive or make an offer on a vehicle. The salesperson may call you if make an offer.
  21. Not sure I'd be calm enough to go ahead and grab the camera for a picture. I think I'd be too freaked out and moving away from the door.
  22. I thought the only "public" Opening Day tickets being made available are either through the online lottery or attendance at the Arctic blast thing. I don't think they are being sold at ticket windows at all. You may want to research this further, but that's what I seem to remember being said.
  23. Is that the girl who dated Balky on Perfect Strangers? Edit-Looked her up, it is Rebeca Arthur. Couldn't tell you another thing she ever did.
  24. I saw Isbell the other night in Madison and he was great You know, even though I'm a metal head, I recognized his name for some reason when I heard he was playing the High Noon. If I knew he was such a big deal I may have attended just to see a decent live band--something I don't get to see enough of here in Madison.
  25. Not that it really matters, but I found it kind of amusing. In the "views" category of the pages, we have ridiculously high numbers of views per thread. In the Badgers basketball thread in off-topic, it's showing over 3 billion views.....Hey, it was a nice win, but that's going a little crazy! Edit-This thread must rule, it has almost 3 million views in a matter of minutes!
