  1. A new drive (assuming yours is IDE based) is pretty simple, pop it in, set it up as a slave and you're basically set . If your PC is knwon enough those sights will work otherwise you'll need to do some investigating to find what motehrboard you have.
  2. Washburn was Braden Looper last year. He's likely to look like Braden Looper this year. Unless there is an injury he just isn't an upgrade.
  3. Seattle is counting on both Branyan and Griffey being healthy for an entire season. When has that ever happened?
  4. Doubt the Rangers will want him more than on a one year deal and by the time he's ready might not want him at all. Besides Bedard and maybe the Rays making a decision, Johnson will likely be available. His problem right now is giving up a ton of home runs but his velocity looks identical to last year so it could very well just be a fluke.
  5. They did that for Fielder, Fielder was much younger of course
  6. Charlotte and Las Vegas both have smaller media markets than Milwaukee. With Vegas it might not be a problem, but Charlotte would be another small market team. Media markets bigger than Milwaukee without a team: Sacremento (The A's are unlikely to allow that to happen), Indianapolis and Portland. LA and New York both could easily support 3rd teams. If they could get a national baseball contract that would pay enough Mexico City could be possible but trips there would be a logistical problem. But they would likely draw 70,000 a game (and still make little money.)
  7. He will pass through waivers. The point is afterwards he becomes a free agent and there is really no reason for him to stay especially since he doesn't have a real place to play in Nashville anyway.
  8. The more divisions you have the weaker World Series winners become
  9. The Red Sox have too much pitching they are not taking on the Suppan contract to get rid of Penny
  10. Well they will need at least one starter, but really in two years they might need to rebuild for a year, which is why Hardy shouldn't be traded but that's off topic a bit. Anyway after 2010, Hardy's a FA, Hall's a FA, Suppan's a FA, Looper's a FA and more importantly Bush is a FA. A year after Hart, Weeks and Fielder are FAs. So while the Brewers will have a lot of money they will have a bunch of holes so they may need to move Hart and Fielder to get pitching and then they are really rebuilding. Something obviously could change for this but 2011 looks to be a year to try to break in young talent. The Brewers won't have money for three starters so might as well take some money and sign Weeks if you can get him at a decent price.
  11. Why did the Brewers sign him. He's older than Nixon and can't play the field.
  12. A huge issue is that having 1B occupied helps the hitter a lot because the firstbaseman has to hold the runner which is why you see a dropoff from 1B only to 1 and 2B or just 2B
  13. And I'll think back top one of the greatest collapses ever in 2007 and the near great collapse in 2008.
  14. Weeks has improved while Kendall has gotten worse. As for Hall he had an .893 OPS against LHP in 2008 so he'll fall of some but he could very well maintain something close to it. Its whether he can keep his OBP at around .330 against RHP. If he does he'll have value.
  15. If Penny is healthy he isn't middling. A healthy Penny would clearly be the 2nd best pitcher on the Brewers. Now him being healthy...
  16. The one to be moved to the bullpen would be Looper but more likely a move woudl be made after an injury anyway
  17. They could just put Riske on the 60 day DL right now.
  18. Just because there isn't much to buy with a dollar doesn't mean its smart to play the lottery.
  19. Weeks was brought up because Melvin robbed the Nats of Ohka. If that didn't happen he wouldn't have come up. But its not like he was super young anyway. Fielder was up for 3 weeks to DH and went back down and then came back up at the end of AAA. He was in 103 AAA games that year so he missed like all of 30 AAA games. Hardy yeah shouldn't have been up especially since by May he became a part time player.
  20. He's coming off injury
  21. Years? That's a laugh
  22. I've said it before, but if the Cardinals were in the NCAA they would have lost scholarship[s for lack of institutional control. Tony LaRussa has been ground zero for steroid use in baseball. Its just a matter of time before more former and current Cardinals get found out. You had a player die of a drug overdose. You had another player die due to drunk driving. Your manager was pulled over for drunk driving during Sprig Training.
  23. This makes the overreaction to the Moss Faux Moon seem sane
  24. Yeah and if they make this trade that starter would be Wang. He's hurt.
