  1. If Cole Gillespie was burning up AAA the Brewers might have a better option. But since Durham doesn't seem interested and Edmonds would likely cost too much for his limited playing time your left with Jenkins, Catalanatto and Iribarren.
  2. The only way to get those CIs for their projection system is to undertake a bootstrap
  3. I think what people are reacting to more than anything is his large jump in LD% from last year. Hard not to notice a 40% increase
  4. Not sure how having the people responsible for the Gold Gloves responsible for the All Star game makes it better. Rosters are submitted to the league office in Spring Training, there's always one weird thing because of that.
  5. He's among the worse to play there full time for any length of time. There was something by MGL I think that had him with worst season since like 1918. He was awful. If he wasn't the worst ever he's among the worst in anyone's living memory. I'm not really exaggerating about this.
  6. I think this is a nice response to Mike Imrem: http://books.google.com/books?id=BS4DAAAAMBAJ&printsec=frontcover&source=gbs_summary_r&cad=0_0#PPA41,M1
  7. Comparing him to the worst 3B ever in the major leagues isn't really that meaningful
  8. Who said he was going to be great? He was a Rule 5 pick for a reason
  9. The reason Yost was canned was the team was fading fast. The reason Yost was canned in the way he was is because he left Brian Shouse to intentionally walk Howard to face Pat Burrell with the season on the line. Its hard to really come up with a worse possible decision. Except maybe to allow Shouse to face two more right hand batters after that
  10. If Yost really did say you guys need to walk more, yeah that's entirely wrong.
  11. I agree I just hate the idea the watching how many innings Parra pitches is babying him
  12. Weeks has two more seasons before FA. He is on the same time frame as Fielder and Hart.
  13. I'm not saying he should be skipped but the idea that limiting a guy's innings when he's never pitcher 180 innings before isn't babying him, its being smart.
  14. Hart last year looked like he was relying on a combination of Bill Schroeder and Ned Yost hitting "adivce" to be aggressive. By the way am I the only one who finds it hilarious that Bill "You've got to expand the zone and Its too close to take with 2 strikes" Schroeder is praising Fielder's patience with men on? The best part is Schroeder is acting like this is something new for Fielder. Bill, Fielder's OBP last year with RISP was .400 despite hitting only .261. With men on its was .410. Yes part of that was IBBs, but its not like Fielder was ever a hacker.
  15. Yes because nothing will help the Brewers more than having Parra "man up", overwork his arm and miss huge amounts of time going forward.
  16. West Allis get worse the closer to West Milwaukee you get (this is bad for West Allis which really isn't that bad) though weirdly West Milwaukee is fine in general (likely due to having higher taxes making rental properties a little more difficult)
  17. Not unless you are dying to see extended shots of the parrot...
  18. Thank you FSN I was much happier watching the pierogis in the stands instead of Week's AB....
  19. If their pitching was even close to projections last year they would have won like 85 games. But their pitching just fell apart for some reason. Same pitchers this year and look
  20. It sounds like Hall might have volunteered to play LF
  21. I think you can read that the Brewers only RH bench bat plays 3B
