  1. No they're not. Gross is 27. Aquino is 29. Nix is 26. Gross is a decent bench player/platoon player. Aquino might put together on year or two years. Nix is minor league free agent level.
  2. Unless they decide Weeks you know needs time to rehab instead of not playing in Milwaukee.
  3. Yeah when was the last time the Brewers scored in double digits! Wait it was when? Ummm, never mind.
  4. The Crew just won two series. THEY JUST WON TWO SERIES.
  5. Sony just got the PS3 to be a Media Center Extender. I'm not sure how the OS there works though so I'm not sure you can use transcode or not meaning you may be stuck with only wma files. Keep in mind Sony being a content provider tends to be much, much more strict in trying to stop media usage. See them planting spyware on your computer and the numerous PSP updates to stop home brew. Meaning if Sony could disable streaming of non-liscensced stuff they will.
  6. Which is why I scoff whenever I hear Ryan call a great GM. Great GMs do not have Punto, Bartlett, and Tyner on their teams. Great GMs don't give millions to Ponson, Ryan runs a very good drafting and developing system, but he has left the major league team full of easily fillable holes for years.
  7. Everything I've heard has been negative about the Show on the PS3. As to getting a PS3, it really whether you want Heavenly Sword or really want a PS2 replacement before they kill off hardware backward compatibility. Otherwise there is likely to be another price drop in 6 months.
  8. Wilson is expensive but Izturis isn't cheap. Pit is paying about $277K of the remainder of Izturis' $4.15 million plus they are on the hook for a $300 k buyout. Unless Wislon gets traded, this makes no sense.
  9. Probably. Keep in mind the 360 is about 65-70% backward compatible. And it also has Mass Effect in November: gamevideos.com/video/id/13287
  10. Yost just wanted to make Wise a trivia answer: Who was the last Brewer to get a hit and a save in the same game?
  11. So Wise either gets traded or ends up on the DL tomorrow EDIT:Yost managing for the save!
  12. No reason to get an original Xbox unless there is specific game you want to play. The PS2 library is vaster and there are still new games coming out.
  13. If by first you mean the thousandth time, yes.
  14. Still unsure why Cincy would trade Dunn now instead of the offseason. Yes his option comes with a no trade clause, but that could be bought out and would think it would get you more than an over 30 reliever with one year left and a mid level infield prospect (guessing). As to a big staff meeting. It could have to do with deciding about what to do with Weeks.
  15. Madden performs better on the 360. (30 fps vs 60 fps) That said, wait a while. There are strong rumours that the new 65 nm chip will finally come out in September and that a price cut will happen fairly shortly.
  16. Th DBacks have good pitching. They have bad hitting. So the Brewers offense isn't as bad as it looks and the pitching not as good.
  17. No he isn't. MLB4U has him at 3.1 years of service coming into the season. That said it would take Yo, Parra, Gwynn, and Inman.
  18. It was Prince on 2nd. Bunting a guy over to 3rd isn't the easiest thing to begin with and Prince isn't the most graceful runner.
  19. Its this year. But because of his defense, the only time Dunn had a WARP higher than Jenkins in a full season for both was 2004. I'm not saying that all being equal I'd take Jenkins over Dunn, but I would prefer Jenkins and Wise over Dunn.
  20. 1) What team is going to trade a relief pitcher for Jenkins? He's neither young nor signed cheaply. It would need to be a team in contention and they tend not to cut up their bullpens. 2) Dunn isn't much if any of an upgrade because his defense is so bad. WARP for Dunn 2.4. WARP for Jenkins 2.4. Dunn's comes from BRAR 27 and FRAR - 5. Jenkins has BRAR 10 and FRAR 11.
  21. Dunn's a rental if traded so I'm not sure why people think its too cheap.
  22. I'm sure the Brewers inquired but not sure they are that interested. He is signed next year at $9.5 million.
  23. I like DC. I hate NOVA. And most of the Maryland counties. That becomes a problem.
