I've become accustomed to ball hits to CF that look like hits being caught. I am also becoming accustomed to slow ground balls up the middle becoming hits.
This is just visual bias of him striking out now and then and looking bad when he does. Hart the past 7 days:.294/.400/.412Past 14 days:.220/.319/.488 Hart hardly has been burning things up buts he's been good.
At this point I wonder if they are just waiting to see if they can get say Ramirez cheap and not burn an option on Green since its only 4 days. I've been talking about Green now since June 4th. What's another 4 days?
Brett Garner swings at even a lower percentage. He must stink. Andrew McCutcheon is right there with them, he must stink. Don't even get me started on Ben Zobrist!
Given the facts that Roenicke doesn't replace Betancourt with Counsell late in games, plays Kotsay in the field, and thought Almonte was workable in RF I'm not sure if can evaluate defense at all.
Based on what? He's 24 and destroying AAA pitching. He's sightly old for AAA but not by a lot and that is explained by injury and not failing at lower levels. He may not be a Top 100 prospect in all of baseball but he'd be on any teams top 10 list at this point.
1) McGehee is only on a streak when compared to his June. A 588 OPS for July doesn't show a rebound especially with an ISO of .067 2)Green would hit better. Why expect him not to? 3) The crap at SS is still better than Yuni
His reasoning is probably Yuni has more power so there's a better chance of him hitting a homer and tying the game. But Kottaras has more power still...
