  1. Hoskins was in swing no matter what mode on 2-0. Pitch was ball the moment it was released.
  2. I'd love to get back to taking walks, creating chaos on the basepaths, and getting that key hit to drive in a couple.
  3. Sounds like a sweet guy.
  4. Don't like this interview right now
  5. Air bender them straight to hell.
  6. Pay heem. Pay that man hees mon... Wait, they did.
  7. I know what everyone here is thinking; if we come back to tie or lead, Williams is blowing it. It's the Brewers playoff way. At the very least, he makes it way too interesting, right?
  8. If you would've told me Turang and Chourio would be consistently getting on base at the top of the order, I would've felt great about this series.
  9. I mean, we had the early lead last night and that didn't work, so might as well try something different.
  10. The "but he didn't bet against his own team" argument is so bad. Even if he only bet on the Reds, he managed the team. He almost certainly made managerial decisions, pitching moves specifically, that were affected by him having money on the game. Moves that then affected future games. And, as someone said, if he had gambling debt, who knows if a bookie could have gotten his hooks into him. Whether or not that actually happened is besides the point. Dowd also said in an interview with ESPN2 that Rose didn't bet on every Reds game. It depended on who he put on the mound. So...those that knew when he was betting would also know which games he was most confident about. Great player, but sorry, he did it to himself. Also, in answering questions about a sexual relationship with a 14-15-year-old: "Rose acknowledged in 2017 that he did have a relationship with the woman, but he said it started when she was 16, which is the age of consent in Ohio. He also said they never had sex outside of the state." Cool.
  11. Mets, clearly. 5-1 against them and a losing record against the Diamondbacks. Plus. they'll have just played two games today. Obviously, it's always "be careful what you wish for," but I think it's an easy choice.
  12. I want to see the winner of the first game of Monday's doubleheader have the raucous champagne celebration, then come out for Game 2 intoxicated.
  13. Padres have the 4-seed locked up. The other three teams are playing for 5 and 6.
  14. NSFW - Language
  15. I mean, cool that the Brewers might benefit from the weather, but let's not forget that a lot of people's lives might get really bad in the next couple days.
  16. Sign Rowdy, get him his 4 PA.
  17. The Twins chances were always 50%. Either they make the playoffs or they don't.
  18. They have to win it for Uke.
  19. Put some respect on Jake Bauers' name.
  20. Every Dbacks reliever is gigantic.
