  1. I had to ask around to get an answer. The ability to upload images via the post editor was broken when Yuku changed server hosts in June. It seems that you can still upload GIFs that way, but not JPGs or PNGs. Going this route to upload would work. Hit the Images link in the navigation bar. It would make sense to open this link in a new tab so your ability to view your post is left alone.Choose the album to which you'd like to upload.Hit the Upload File button at the top of the page.Browse for the picture(s) you'd like to upload, then hit the Upload button at the bottom of the page.At this point, you should be able to access your picture as you did before. Another semi-related issue is that if you upload a JPG, make sure it has the .jpg extension. Images with the .jpeg extension will break.
  2. Row 8 is the first row. My best guess is that in both jeffyscott's and PrinceEatMeat's cases, the mound would be obstructed by the stairway railing. I'm a little surprised that row 10 would be affected, though.
  3. I'd trust gypcasino's buddy over the news report. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif The media isn't necessarily dependable when it comes to being accurate.
  4. Yeah, Bluemound takes you to the north lots. It might be easier to come in from the west so you can make a right turn.
  5. I'd like to disregard the home/road thing. The sample is small, and as others have pointed out, the home/road situation was reversed last year. However, starting Zack in Game 2 could conceivably make him available for a game down the road where he might not be available otherwise. I'd strongly consider it for that reason.
  6. From Tom Haudricourt
  7. A few years ago, I recall reading a message board account from a fan who sat near a woman that complained to a Chase usher about a kid near her making too much noise. The noise made it difficult for her to concentrate on her book. The usher asked the kid's parents to keep him quiet. None of the people who posted replies was surprised; they could all envision that happening.
  8. Chase Field kind of reminded me of Miller Park the way it was designed, but the upper deck also seemed massive, especially with all the open seats. Chase holds several thousand more fans than Miller. Generally, ballparks with larger capacities have more seats in the cheap areas. That probably partially explains the massiveness of Chase's upper deck. Because additional seats tend to be far away, they aren't that cost effective to build into the structure. That's a likely reason why most ballparks don't hold as many fans as Chase does.
  9. I took the word gripping to mean suspenseful or keeping one on the edge of his seat.
  10. I haven't seen this discussed elsewhere. This forum looks like a good place for the question. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. It's a mixture of both signs. You have to wonder what was up.
  12. I've concluded that waves are fine when Yuni is batting but that they're a distraction at other times.
  13. Are we taking 9:30 EDT (8:30 CDT) or 9:30 CDT? Both times are too late, but 9:30 CDT would be insane for local fans. And that would be 10:30 EDT, which is really too late for TV. BTW, Rev. SeriesFinale, I care about your plans for Saturday. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  14. Until recently, Arizona was in danger of finishing with the worst attendance in franchise history. Tampa' Bays attendance is in the top half when compared its previous seasons. Also, the Diamondbacks were in a pennant race all year. For most of the year, it looked like the Rays had no chance. Additionally, the Rays play in a dungeon in a part of town that's difficult to access. The Diamondbacks play in a beautiful stadium that's convenient. Unlike the Diamondbacks, the Rays are acting like they expect sellouts. The Rays' ticketing page requires registration to ensure "an efficient and fair ticket ordering process." It also offers the ability to guarantee seats with 2012 season ticket purchases. You see nothing like that on Arizona's page. I agree with your observation, though. I like to root for teams whose fans support them. Diamondbacks Attendance History Rays Attendance History
  15. If you want to go to games in Phoenix, there are lots of tickets available on the Diamondbacks official site.
  16. Of course, that was 10:00 AM Milwaukee time. Back when the Milwaukee Journal was an afternoon paper, the Brewers and Red Sox could finish the game in time for it to make the same day's edition.
  17. Yeah, I believe teams can go up until the last minute to set the roster. This topic would be a better fit for that discussion: Build your 2011 postseason roster
  18. I should have said "a" vomitorium as there's one for every three sections.
  19. Good find, 20fry. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I checked out Laurie's seats tonight, but I didn't have a camera with me. Laurie, Section 410 is directly above the vomitorium. The railing directly in front of you won't be an issue. The obstruction is the stairway railing. You'll be fine. I've marked up 20fry's picture. The arrow points to your seats; the oval encircles the obstruction. http://images.yuku.com.s3.amazonaws.com/image/jpeg/43315d544a52490d6db1c524fe8739f3f955b9e.jpg
  20. Things were fine for a while. I reopened my ticket when 502s started for me again late this afternoon. It seems to be fine now, although I've only been on the system for a few minutes. The announcement box at the help desk (help.yuku.com) currently says that there were a few reports of 502s late this afternoon and that staff is investigating. By the way, you don't have to be a mod or admin to submit a ticket directly to Yuku. 502s are one of those things that can affect some members while others surf just fine. Knowing who's experiencing issues and who isn't might help the gurus to pin down the issue.
  21. With the name Laurie, I'd assume that he's a she. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  22. Here's a topic from last month that may help. Standing Room Only Tix: Where to Stand?
  23. The 502 issues should now be fixed. But I wouldn't be surprised if they recurred in the next couple of days. What's happened is that Yuku has been sold to CrowdGather. This is the second sale of the company in ten months. At the time of the sale, Yuku had no developers at all. The head guy was the only tech person, and he left the company with the sale. CrowdGather's developers are faced with the unenviable task of simultaneously keeping a broken system afloat and learning the platform. This time around, the 502s were fixed within an hour or so of the developers becoming aware of the problem. That compares to 24 hours or more to address 502 issues that occurred three times last week.
  24. Yes. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif I just got one a minute ago, and I've had frequent bouts with them over the past few weeks. You can rest assured that we're not alone. There's nothing you can do on your end to fix the issue. It's totally a server problem. When you get these, keep reloading the page, and you should eventually get through. I'll submit a help ticket.
  25. RRR sounded pretty frustrated with Yuni in his post-game press conference. I think I'd have left Counsell in rather than pinch running with Gomez. Craig has more than adequate speed along with a brain that moves faster than his legs. Carlos' legs move faster than his brain. I know that the out at the plate was on RRR rather than Carlos, but I'd have still gone with the safer bet.
